    Been looking closer at AFB

Last year he played every game, and scored 41 points in 48 minutes

This year (disregarding 25 minutes against the dogs) he has 53 points in 49 minutes.
Main scoring increase is metres gained, getting an extra 5 points a game there and small improvements everywhere else.
So stats look good, the main question is if its sustainable. he's not actually get a big increase in game time - seems to be solid for 40-50 minutes most weeks, so should be able to expect that to continue. Just a question about how well his output stacks up.

He's one of those PPM kings that have tempted people in pre-season a few times over the past couple years. Has he finally cracked it for the big time?

Video on Titans website were Peats basically says he will be back next week.

His words were "another week to go and I'll be back".

I think it helps that Manly are winning games and with no DCE or TTurbo I think the workload is being put on the middle to march them up the field. Be good to see how much things change when DCE and TTurbo return as they are generally the main ball getters and generate most of the attack so guys like AFB, Marty may fall short of some of the scores they are getting now. On the other hand, it could improve as there will be the chance for more attacking stats with DCE and TTurbo creating the momentum for them to go forward. Watch this space.

This could mean he has this coming week off then he will be back for R13?

Its hard to tell. Obviously nothing is set in stone anyway.

In the context of the convo, I took it to mean he'll play next week.

We only get 2 trades in r13 (4 in R14 though) - for all the bye players that will be leaving our team, just have to hope that they don't lose too much cash.

Were/Are Titans actually any better with Peats. Peats is just a tackle-bot whereas Rein at least scoots from dummy half

I think he's worth a gamble at the price. Perfect would be if he grabbed a try between now and rd 16 to make him worth trading out but worst case hes bench worthy if I'm forced to hold him for the year.

Was great internationally last year, if he can find that form again he will be a good Fullback. Fullback is his preferred position and he hasn't had much opportunity over the years. It's a bit hard to showcase some skill also when your team doesn't have the ball.

This. He doesn't have to be a phenomenal fb to add value. He's been average this season but none of the Panthers have. He's been good for all his international outings

Arrow to Marty Kapow , Let’s see where this leads to now as I hate trading a keeper out but it’s done now pale

Target trades for the next couple of rounds: Farah/CS9, ARey/Cleary, and Bateman. None of my cows are generating enough cash so will most likely downgrade Arrows. Hoping Rein puts in a massive game this week. Every dollar counts now.
