From the previous thread before that awesome party

What do you guys reckon: Can Rabbitohs afford to rest players v Knights 2 days after Origin given how good Knights have been recently. Could we see Cook back up in R13??

Also with Roosters losing 2 in a row, less chance of Teddy being rested, now with Roosters dropping to 3rd?

    Thoughts??

Your point on Knights form, plus the fact it is 2 days, leans in our favour for Cook to back up I reckon.

idk if we can risk having a young half next season when Cronk leaves... waaaaaay too much risk if Keary goes down... i have a sneaking feeling Maloney may return to us since the Riff dont seem to want him anymore.

I've never known Wayne to be some-one that changes what he's doing based on what others are doing, i wager he already has a plan for the origin period that will not change regardless of who they might play, its just a matter of what that plan is.

The competitveness of QLD in this years origin relies on DCE, Munster and Ponga being on the paddock.   With the lack of depth, it turns to shit otherwise.

JWH was lucky not to be sinbinned himself - you can see him pause before hitting Ponga late

BS imo. There looked to be intent to hit late and injure. Incidental injuries are part of the game. But should we accept a significant injury to a player when it's intentional? It's a game. It's not a real battlefield. It's bad enough seeing players sidelined with legitimate injuries, let alone ones which can be avoided. Wish Klemmer was there

I'm saying it was a late hit, because I was replying to comment that people should directly target Ponga

I believe they shouldn't go out to directly target someone, because it can easily backfire for defender in getting sin-bin and suspension (JWH 2 week suspension now)

What comes to mind for me is why don't we see JWH put as much gusto/intent/speed into all his hitups and tackles?? Because he doesnt.

Paul Turner now starting fullback for Warriors NSW Cup team. You can see he's got some talent to him but he's still very raw. Don't expect we'll see him in first grade this year, maybe get a taste next year.

Hope the Warriors can hang onto him.
