If their club is playing then lockout as per usual e.g. Cleary will lockout Thursday
If their club has a bye then before the final game e'g' Munster will lockout Sunday

Strongly considering using four trades. Three are locked in, its whether or not to use the fourth that is the question.

If I use four, there is a reasonable chance I'll use one trade next week to go Young to Bateman, but Young needs to close the gap on Bateman by 30k this week.

James Roberts officially released by the Broncos (source Broncos website).

Expected to join Souths though no confirmation on that as yet.

I think using the 4 trades allows you to rise in rank. A lot of people being conservative only using 2-3 trades, go all out & use 4 trades because you'll gain an advantage over those who aren't using their full quota or using some of the trades to buy round 13 players.

There may be some post Origin surprises next week, with injuries and players being rested. I'm expecting a lot of coaching having to make a double trade next week to field a good 17

I completely get why anybody would be interested in buying RTS when he bottoms out.
But any current owners considering selling him?

    4 game average of 36.75
Tryless average of 39 this season
Tommy Turbo's return imminent, and already have Tedesco and Ponga

    Crazy?

I prefer RTS over a Tommy who is prone to pick up a niggle.

The Brisbane Broncos have granted James Roberts an immediate release from the remainder of his contract on compassionate grounds.

Broncos CEO Paul White said Roberts had reached out to the Club and indicated his strong desire to return home to New South Wales with his partner and two young children.

Yep - and injuries. Always hard to plan for.

I mean, two weeks ago, I expected to have Wighton and Martin for this round, that's two players gone for this week right there.

I won't be in such a bad spot if there are one or two origin players rested in round 13. I think keeping Lomax (assuming he stays at fb) and Xerri, they both may be very handy players, and Havili will be an 18th man for me if everyone is named.

Yeah I'd be hoping for 20-30 at best and then at worst he's a decent red dot option for H2H finals in later rounds as raiders play late in rounds 21-25

12 players and 15 trades left after using 4 this round. So far off the pace may as well max trade

    Martin(grrr!)>Walker
    DBrown > Brittain
    Morgan>Lolo
    Okunbor>Havili

    GTG??

It's a smart decision keeping someone like Lomax to cover Teddy or Ponga in case the don't play rd 13.
At least there are enough hookers around to cover for Cook if he gets rested. I have 5 in my team atm
