Titans have exact same team as last week so another 35 minutes for him and a score of 30. The extra cash is handy too for later.

Allan could see some extra attack over the origin period with all the guns out and is only one decent score away from a good price rise.

Without seeing my team who would you prioritise first?

Views on this tactic. Buying Rein for a 1 week points grab assuming he'll get 50+ & assuming Peats plays in round 13. To me Rein will be 1 of the top scorers this week so why not take advantage of that. Then if Peats plays round 13 then sell Peats straight away to CS9/McInnes. So Rein will be a......buy, play, sell. There's also the possibility that Rein gets more than just 1 game for me.

On the same page as Milchy here
If you think he is a top 3 half you probably want to grab him this week. Any of Munster, DCE, Cleary, Pearce, Moses, Arey, Milford, Hunt could end up as a top scoring half so it comes down to gut feel

Walker is a risky option. Granted he plays this week, but will miss rnd 16 and doesn't have good consistency with his game compared to other available CTRs. So it might be a wasted trade if your playing for overall and by the sounds of it, you will have enough players playing rnd 12 without trading in Walker.

Just listened to Macquarie Sports, David Riccio is on and he said all indications are that Bateman will be playing.

I agree too. I've got Cleary who I'll probably keep and I think I would rather DCE, Pearce or Milford to Arey. I was just wondering if others thought he was a must have, and if so why?

I grabbed Arey a few rounds ago. I like his high floor playing Bennett-ball but he doesn't have the ceiling of the others. Will likely grab Milf pretty soon aswell

Not that it influences me buying him, but will Havili get DPP HOK/2RF

Brandon Smith got the same DPP with the same role of coming off the bench in the middle as Havili does however now Havili has HOK spot for next 4 (while next batch of DPP are done) does this prevent him getting DPP

According to the Bateman poll in the community team section - half of us will jump on if named to start and half will wait (til r13 I guess). I'll be jumping on btw. Get in my team!

    It's interesting.

In the original trade poll, 9 out of 24 people want to trade Bateman in this week (if he starts)

In the new Bateman only poll, 9 out of 14 people want to trade Bateman in this week (if he starts)

So which poll do we follow?

Whenever people try to quantify the value you need from a trade, 50 points and a couple of bucks never comes in as a worthwhile use of one.

I reckon there'd be many round 12 non-keepers that could score 50 AND would likely play 13,14 and 15 too. If you are wasting a trade (which is what this is imo) why wouldn't you get one with better job security? You could argue the same for Brittain, trade him in and out again at least you make 40k if one game and upwards of 100k if he plays two. Not worth trading in and out imo but better than Rein in and out.

I’m trading in Bateman for a non player this week, regardless if he starts or not. I need the two trades for next week for other purposes. I think he’ll play. It’s a face injury, not a leg, shoulder or pec, and he’s tough as nails. He’s back for a reason. They need him.
