It's possible, he's a good player and we've got a fair bit of forward depth meaning we don't need to rush him back to the forward rotation. He's skilful, came through in the halves. I don't see Bowen getting another go, he hasn't been very good. Tuala is the one that could push him out but in that event there's the chance he could move back to starting edge rower with Hess on the bench (or left out given his form), or probably more likely he moves back to the bench. I believe we still have a spot in our top 30 and we're still looking for a fullback and if we found one that would push Kahu back to the centres, or same possibility if Martin returns at some point. I would guess he stays in the 17 one way or another.

TL;DR Good player worth a shout but numerous ways it could go pear-shaped. Actually I didn't realise he had a negative break even. Hmmmmm.

What are the chances of Cleary not backing up two days after origin?

If you were desperate for some extra cash and a player you could do something like Lomax to Brent Naden. Other than that you've got keepers or non-peaked cows like Dearden.

Penrith need a win so Cleary will play imo.

Carty to Havili worth the trade - nets 150k off the bat and Havili should make 120-150k more

Havili probably adds 10-15 points in R12 and may possibly be in my 17 depending on how my trade plans go

If I don't take Havili, Carty will go for Dearden in R13 to help fund Mahoney + Rein to Smith + McInnes and I'll do Lomax to Brittain this round

Not sure if already posted, but an article from the Canberra Times a few hours ago: https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6186213/raiders-ring-in-the-changes/

TLDR: Bateman seeing specialist on Friday to try and get clearance. Havili unlike to play 80 mins.

Sorry bro but I don't like the idea of selling a round 12 player like Cartwright who scored 40 odd points in the last round.

For anyone worried that Havili doesn't start/hopeful Starling will start, I don't think he can because he's not a top 30 player

I don't know if people were expecting Havili to get 80 mins - if he gets 45 in 60-ish minutes he'll rise about 125k in next 3, so around 150k at the least if he's there for 4 games, and a little bit more if Hodgson is hampered in return

What are you expecting him to get. I assume he will come off bench again, given they won convincingly last week so expecting max 50 mins

I'm hoping/expecting around 30 points if he has same role as last week (44 last week with try, TA, 2 LBA). His price won't really move thankfully due to last week's performance.

If Starling wasn't even in their top 30 I can't see him taking up a whole ton of game time. I'd expect 65 minutes at the least from Havili.

Havili is just too good to pass on because he's purpose built for fantasy.
