Or just leave Bateman for next week? At this stage I am leaning towards trading Bateman in for this extra week as he will be must have.

If Bateman is named in 17 is it worth trading him in for Morgan this week? Morgan will miss at least an extra game. Will leave me with Reynolds/Deardon as my halves.

Thinking similar mate.
However I'm really coming around to the idea of dumping Carty for him.

Is Carty > Havili an option if I want to keep Morgan?
Just feel like he has more upside outside of the bubble of RD12. Will still have 12 players for the week

Thanks Wolfking. I am already doing Lawrie to Havili and Hughes to Brittain leaving me 16 trades.

This is my trade for the week. With Carty being benched I probably expect max 30 points (he got 44 with 17 points of attacking stats last week - try, TA, 2 LBA). This means he will fall short of his BE just, and with him being traded out regardless next week why not net 150k from grabbing Havili and probably gain 10-15 points in R12 also.
Also, I think with the way I'm planning my trades my 17th man is going to be shit unless I pick Havili so I'm picking him up

Just save the trade.
Havili will get 4 games best case, potentially less if Hodgson comes back early.
How many points more than Carty will he score this week?
Will he be part of your 17 going forward?
If he only plays 3 games, will he make enough money.
Consider those and decide if you think he's worth it or not

I wouldn’t worry about trading Carty for the likes Havilli. I think it only has merit if it's for the likes of Bateman.

Bateman likely playing this week is another spanner in the works. It probably means Young gets chopped back to a 30 to 40 minute role.
Might have to draw up some new plans.
May bypass Havili to get Bateman this week, although I'm pretty set on Havili being a worthwhile 4 week pick up.

Well that just means Lawrie/Martin out and Taupau/Brittain in.
Not really convinced about the Martin to Brittain trade as was hoping for a bit more cash generation.

Yes. If he's cleared good to go, Ricky isn't going to have him on the bench.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 54
Hmmm heads spinning a bit here. Ill chuck up the team setup for RD12 before trades, any thoughts appreciated.
Rein
Tolman, Whitbread
Taumalolo, Kikau, Young
Arey, Carty
Sivo, CNK
So 10 men this week before trades. Kind of want to start working towards 11 in each bye round.

He has played 80 in every game this season barring the one he got injured. With the Raiders on 3 losses in a row, I don't think Ricky will stuff around with "easing him back in" if he is cleared to play. That Raiders team is fairly thin.
Sounds like Havili will be subbed at some point so they will use an extra 2 interchanges on him as well.

There is no excitement around me picking him up. He's 228k and should play close to 80 mins at hooker this week. I'm not overly concerned with what else happens, but I don't think Cook backs up every game.
I am not expecting him to leave my team, so I don't care about cash generation. Perhaps its not wise to effectively kill a position this early..

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 54
I think with my team I need an extra cash maker as if I categorise my team into keepers, borderline keepers, peaked cash cows, and cash cows my cash cows are pretty small
Keepers: Cook, Fifita, Haas, Taumalolo, Taupau (as back up FRF), Nikora, Tedesco, Ponga
Borderline Keepers: Munster?? ARey?? Murray?? JFH, Mahoney, Tolman (latter 3 requiring trade outs when possible)
Peaked Cash Cows: CNK, Garrick, Rein (based on JS), Carty (if I hold onto him)
Cash Cows Still Making Money: Xerri, Lomax, Young, Havili (if I buy him for Carty)
So if I inject cash from Carty and get a new cash cow, I have the funds to move Rein to McInnes/Bateman and then give myself another trade to inject another new cash cow for one of my peaked cows I don't need post R12 (likely Garrick to Dearden)

Possible, but remember he has a high BE and he isn't guaranteed to play 80, looks at tapine. Seems to be significant risk there

Feels like a trade for a possible 50 and future 20's. Havili is surely more valuable with a string of 40's?

True but will 2 full games for Brit be enough when you could pick up another round 12 player? Not convinced.
I"m assuming most people have a hooker back up or Hav
