Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 54
Out of all the forwards in the NRL this year, Jurbo is the one who has been burning the candle at both ends.

Rein pretty much useless when Peats returns (unless he gets injured again) Just use what you don't need moving forward to get the 100% keepers in! Even if Bateman can't match early season average he is a MUST have in the CTRRandom wrote:
But then I miss Havilii and having 8 HOKs..
But yeah maybe I should hold Xerri. Saving trades is more important and if I need to force an extra trade next week for Bateman both Rein, and Mahoney could be options.

I've been making all my rd 12 trade plans with an eye on round 13. I'm worried Rein's out, Ponga's rested, someone else injured. I'm trying to ensure I don't leave myself short. I do think Ponga and Cleary will probably back up and fair chance of Rein playing too. But we only get two trades next week and want to make sure I have cover even if it's crap cover that likely won't be needed.

Been struggling to break out of the 45 area, think he has made his cash and done his job
For me just need to decide which half to partner Moses (who could end up doing same as Morgan )
Was talk of Brooks as an ultra POD half pairing with Moses
I don't know whether Moses is worth keeping or not. I own him and while I've got an 80 and a 97 I've also had a few sub 40 scores as well. In some regards he's doing worse than Morgan, who I traded out, he just has a mega high ceiling.
Brooks is an interesting POD choice. 7 scores over 50 this year and only 2 of them inflated by tries. I'm looking at him, Milf and Pearce as POD choices for R16. Well I guess Pearce AKA Mr Tries ain't too much of a POD among the serious crowd but still might want to jump on that bandwagon.

averaging 50 mate with only 1 try. He is the exact type of player you want at the back end of season
Has great base this year, Milf esque KM this year hlping and don't look like changing and can go LARGE!
If Eels get going again he could be huge at seasons back end

I was expecting heaps more from Whitbread, especially with him starting at lock last round. I think he's fantasy fodder (lack of minutes the main issue)
I see Brittain getting a solid score this round, and he might get a couple more opportunities over the origin period
Hey Chewie, I can't see Brittain being anything more than a 1 Round score and a red dot for the rest fo the year. Maybe he gets one more off the bench spell for Cook but that would be about it right?

Yeah I'm interested for those reasons. Not convinced but need to take a punt somewhere and he's an option.

Cook 80 minutes in origin. Another game less than 48 hours later? Was rested last year (albeit with a different coach). Fair chance he'll be rested again.

As a "POD punt" at his price their isn't much better
a Pearce esque purple patch would be nice, as I said great base this year which he has never had previous

Yep floor of about 30 instead of single digits is reassuring. But 30's against DCE's/Pearce's 55+'s would suck, but that's the game.

Being up the ladder helps with him being rested too. Not that much pressure to risk playing the tired stars

Over $200k price difference between DCE and Moses. DCE with 3 tries in 6 full games vs Moses 1 try in 11
Moses MT do knock him down but his base is right up there with DCE this year
If they were both the same $$ obviously I'd go DCE but now to make ground you need your trades to outscore other trade in options from byes to end of season
I'll wait on DCE to drop hopefully around $800,000 to pair with Moses, if hes doesn't in next few weeks I'll go with a cleary/Pearce/Milf

Agree with all that. In fact most of my time this round has been considering the different half options. Props, hookers, centres are pretty straight forward to work out the elites. WFB not too bad either. Halves seems to be where the POD options are.

Kind of like a reset, first half of season vs second half now with the advantage to the players who have been more consistent/higher scoring to this point
means nothing if they can't replicate or the POD can't raise their games

I think I’m just going to go Xerri to Bateman now. I was going to do it next week anyway and I reckon he plays this week and gets 50. If not, at least it’s done and I can use the two trades next week for something else. He’s a must have.

Xerri if you can fix up Centre next week (ie. Bateman), otherwise Matterson

I dont think you can sell Xerri because you need atleast 2 ctr in your squad.
If you're desperate to get Havili in your squad then id trade Whitbread. Havili should out score him this week and you are more likely to play Havili in your 17 than Whitbread.
If Whitbread goes back to the bench next week and plays limited minutes then you'll be scrambling to trade him before he loses money

On Bateman, Paul Kent said on 360 that he thinks Bateman will play and Kent and Sticky a good mates.
