Morgan should pick up with Lolo back, he was awesome on the weekend

So much easier with the go forward he provides

What's the consensus, hold or trade?

I'm holding. They didn't almost beat the Storm with Farah off the field. He was having a bad game against the Bunnies but Liddle sure didn't do much to stem the bleeding.

Trading him out now is just a 50/50 roll of the dice.

My gut-feel irrational trade for this week is Whitbread to Brittain Stoned

I was expecting heaps more from Whitbread, especially with him starting at lock last round. I think he's fantasy fodder (lack of minutes the main issue)
I see Brittain getting a solid score this round, and he might get a couple more opportunities over the origin period

    Panthers fans or people more privy than I;

A couple of questions regarding Brian To'o.
    1. How is his job security?
    2. How was he performing fantasy wise in reserve grade this year?
    3. He seems like a real tackle buster. Was last game a one off or is this his game?

    Thank you in advance.

Debating whether it is worth trading Papenhuyzen out for him.

Got subbed off like it was no deal and nobody's said anything about it, that worries the shit out of me so i'm bailing, there's enough reason for a more patient person to hold and see.

I've got you in the mods league mate. Fewer trades the better please. Wink

In all seriousness, depends what you want from the trade. Brittain will potentially score well this round and maybe one more round if Cook has a rest (likely, I think).
Havili will score well (based on last year) and will be around for at least four weeks by the looks of things. He is not basement price like Brittain but will make more cash (I think).

Havili is the better option, I think. Personally I am grabbing them both. Will Kennedy is probably not much use to you. Not sure if Lomax is a trade at this stage though. Hard to tell where he goes from here/how much cash he's got left to make.

See this is my problem. Kennedy is going for sure and I have $210k in the bank to hopefully turn Carty to Bateman next week. That isn't enough so will need to downgrade Xerri, Dearden, or Young next week anyway.

If I trade out Xerri this week for Havilii I should safely have the cash for Bateman next week.

So now I am thinking Xerri + Kennedy out for Brittian + Havilii to make sure I have the cash for Bateman.

Risk is going unders 50 and losing out to the Arey/DCE/Cleary/Munster owners each week

Been struggling to break out of the 45 area, think he has made his cash and done his job

For me just need to decide which half to partner Moses (who could end up doing same as Morgan Laugh 3 )

Was talk of Brooks as an ultra POD half pairing with Moses

imagine how handy it would be if you could choose one person every week in your team to not lose cash.
then you could wait and see on players with high BE and people like farah

Yeah I agree - he's been rubbish. Only keeping him in mind for my future 18th man, as well as Tapine. That's if they come good of course. If Martin ends up at the Dragons, he'd do nicely too..

Good thoughts re Morgan with Lolo by him, but I just don't rate the guy as a 7. Over rated IMO

I just did my own sums and I'm probably going to be short for Bateman for carty next week too. Might need to follow your plan and move Xerri out.

If i make 2 trades this week my full team will be

    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Tapau Lolo Murray
    Reynolds Taylor
    Nikora Xerri
    Ponga Tedesco Sivo

    Smith
    Rein
    Mahoney
    Tolman

    Deardon
    Cartwright
    Waddell
    Brittain

    11 players in rd12.

259k in the bank will look at upgrading(no particular order) Sivo to RTS, Cartwright to DCE, Xerri to Bateman, Tolman to Matterson, will use Mahoney/Waddell/Taylor for cash.

You guys are spot on about this, but my alternative trade outs are Lomax (Potentially decent cash if he finds his feet and if long term FB he has handy DPP potential to sit in my reserves. No cash flow increase.) Dearden (Better position, job security and more cash to make.) So it is forcing a trade I would rather not make to ensure I get Bateman.

Just hope Bateman plays and goes around 40 he will lose plenty of cash then

But then I miss Havilii and having 8 HOKs..

But yeah maybe I should hold Xerri. Saving trades is more important and if I need to force an extra trade next week for Bateman both Rein, and Mahoney could be options.
