I will more than likely be keeping Mahoney all year.

Tossing up between McInnes and Smith. I still think Smith plays Origin if QLD get beaten this week.

I still think it's a possibility to to be honest.  Going McInnes this week myself I think.

Smith won't play origin because I think he's really enjoying not playing origin re the demands on his body & as he said in an interview.....I've had my go playing origin now it's time for someone else to have a go.
The thing that has me a bit worried re McInnes is the rumour of R. Martin going to the Dragons before the June 30 deadline. Atm Robson comes on & McInnes goes to lock & plays 80 minutes. R. Martin if he goes to the Dragons will be a JDB replacement so he could play lock & then McInnes may not play 80 minutes.

Didn't McInnis switch to lock and play 80 even when they had a hooker on the bench and JDB was playing? I'm buying McInnis so might just be trying to justify myself here...

There is now 312 points between 1st and 50th. Can’t remember a gap that big up top before.

Pookus, I’m 5th in the Rabbitohs supporters league and 60 behind you. Watch your back Wink

For McInnes to be a premium pick over C. Smith he needs to be playing 80 minutes because tackles are his bread & butter although he's developing his running game & does get attacking stats. C. Smith has so many extra strings to his bow like gk & kick metres this is why he does very well.

That's because the guys like Verbal keep on posting huge scores while those chasing like all the rest of us just can't match them haha.

Hadn't noticed how cheap Tohu has got (after a run of mediocre scores). Did one of our Kiwi posters say he's been playing injured? If so, is he fixed yet?

Rein and carty. To McInnes and tapine I think.

Bold move cotton, hope it pays off.

Both rein and carty have to go. I want McInnes so that’s locked. Tapine I’m unsure over, have already been screwed by tapine and kikau this year. So hesitant on players of that ilk. Also tapine no good for bye. Any suggestion of player under 390k?

    Will leave me with

    Cook
    Haas, Fifita
    Tolo, taupau, Murray
    Arey,ponga
    Xerri, nikora
    Teddy,rts, cnk

    Bateman, Mahoney, McInnes, havili
    Tapine, sivo, young, Brittain

I’m bringing in Tapine next week pending his workload this week coming back from injury. He has a huge BE and given the unknown think it’s worth waiting a week

If Ponga is rested you have no halves cover. I think Tapine needs to get his match fitness up before buying him because he's only going to get limited minutes until his fitness levels are higher e.g. he only played 35 minutes v Bulldogs. You'd be better off buying a hlf for security.

Well, that round has slightly restored some pride and respectability to my overall rank. Some horrible captain choices (pretty much every 'guns' worst / injury score - SJ, Farah, Bateman, I'm sure there were some more) left me outside the top 7000! 30th for the round, and 936 overall now.

Time to spend the 600k in the bank....

I'm interested in K. Mann with Levi out for 6-8 weeks but what concerns me is with C. Watson, Pearce & Ponga dominating possession then K. Mann is just living off the scraps.

What everyone is saying so far with Tapine's workload slowly increasing. I would recommend on waiting at least another week or 2 and then make a decision on whether to bring him in, as you don't want to be wasting trades unless you have been hording them. For a player under 390k, you could look at just going to a pure red dot player who is valued between 212k-228k to make max cash gains from a cash cow is another option I would consider.

I remember getting Mann in last year because he was going to be a great cash out for the second bye and then he didn't even play, or something. Lol

They all average 49-53 and their BE’s are all 51-49, it comes down to who is going to score the least points this week.

I vote for Rein mate. I’m actually going to keep Mahoney. Playing well and has a good base with tackles.

But if Peats isn’t named I’ll squeeze one more week out of him

How come everyone is going for Mcinnes? Robson on the bench not a liability? Has it been confirmed he will play 80 mins, 50-60 at hooker and the rest at lock?
