Ive decided to bring in Mcinnes this week and boot Young for some cash to hopefully offload Walker and Tamou to Nikora and Smith next week. If i can do that my team will be looking really strong, hope i can stay in the top 100 fro the rest of the season...

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
I took some risks last week by bringing in Tamou for Crichton, Walker for Xerri and Bateman for Nikora to chase points. I went from rank 238 to 86 so it seems it worked for me. Only thing is now i have to play Tamou and Walker this week....

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
I need HLF coverage after selling Carty and looking at R16 cash cow - who to pick between Dearden and Mann?
Mann: Cheaper, but plays limited role with Ponga/Pearce, BE of 7, in high min games he has 20, 54 and 22 this year and should be guaranteed 80 mins with Levi out
Dearden: at 350k is he still worth it as cash cow? Looked to be taking on greater role in attack instead of letting Milford completely run the show v Warriors, BE of 0, average of 37
I prefer Dearden but wondering if it is worth taking the risk on Mann as the 66k difference may help me go triple gun next week - Mahoney + Tolman + CNK + Young to CS9 + Bateman + RTS + 212k

Man this season is flying way too fast.
6 for me. Mcinnes this week. then 5 between now and 16 (2 for waddell and young to cover any injuries, 3 side ways trades round 16 for points)

McInnes this week and Smith next week.
I could easily do this; however, I NEED Bateman in the next two weeks and to get him I think I can only do one of those two.
I could possibly do it over 3 weeks? Grab McInnes/Cow this week, Bateman/Cow next week and Smith the week after.
Thoughts?

Oh no I'm actually going to have put a lot of thought and planning into my future trades.
Rein, Sivo, Tolman and Young all on the immediate chopping block. Who goes first? If players are rested, which are worth keeping around one more week for cover? Young suspended means he won't lose value but is worth the least.
McInnes, Bateman, RTS, a POD R16 gun plus a cash-out or two to be traded in.
It all goes to crap with one injury but there's just so many options for once, some degree of a plan has to be made.

There's 4 trades available next week so that could help - I'm basically following same strategy - McInnes + R16 Cow then R14 CS9 + Bateman + R16 Cashout + maybe RTS

6 trades after R16. 2 this week, 2 next week and 2 the week after then look at my team before R16 and assess any possible sideways trades.

I'm wondering if it's too late to get Dearden myself. His last game does seem to indicate he's taking on more responsibility and he'll be in a lot of R16 teams.
Whether he makes enough cash from now to justify the trade is another.

Yeah this could be my plan. Maybe next week I could go Sivo/Tolman/CNK > CS9/Bateman/Cashout (hopefully RTS).

With a BE of 0, based on his average he should make another 140K before R17, anything higher and it'll be more.

Anyone willing to take a punt on some past guns that have bottomed out?
Tohu, Surgess and Rhys Martin's prices are juicy. I know Rhys is in a bad situation but 463k and probably dropping.

Will wait to see how Tohu goes over next couple games.
Surgess scores depend on tries
Martin will be juicy when he finds a starting spot at a new club.

Unless Rhys Martin changes clubs this year, don't see him getting the role he needs to be useful

I'll bring Tohu in the next few rounds. He should be over his injury now, especially after the Bye, his BE is 53. I'll see how he goes this round before making my final decisionluckynumber8 wrote:Anyone willing to take a punt on some past guns that have bottomed out?

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
So over the next two weeks this is my likely 6 trades.
Outs: Rein/Sivo/Young/Tolman/CNK/Martin
Ins: Bateman/CS9/McInnes/RTS/Cow/Cow
Then after R16 outs will be: Xerri/Mann/Dearden and i'll look to grab 1-2 NPR's and 1-2 POD's. This would leave roughly 4-5 trades between Rd's 19 and 25. Leaving it very tight; however, these will be solely for injury/suspension purposes.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 56
I think 6 trades from 17 onwards is probably decent as long as your team is pretty set. Forward planning is always my downfall, I never look ahead to trade plans over this period and always end up with average 16th and 17th men normally. Just putting my team down for perspective and get a look a some forward planning;
Cook
Fifi Haas
Murray Bateman Tolo
Morgan ARey
Xerri Nikora
Ponga CNK RTS
Taupau Mahoney Havilli Rein
Dearden Sivo Brittain Young
14 trades and 239K.
Rein to McInnes this week looks good. Maybe Young to a Mann/Staggs/Kerr. At the moment I'm counting Mahoney, CNK and Morgan as keepers as will reasses depending on where I am at the end of the rep period. I like those 3 persoanlly and I think Morgan will have a big backend so I'm happy to hold. I can count 14 of those as keepers, 15 once I get McInnes this week. I know counting those 3 as keepers is probably not going to get me anywhere but makes me feel a bit better about where I'm at and potential options. Plus I'm not challenging the top so don't really mind.
My main targets after that is really Teddy and Smith. But also look at a JTurbo through Xerri after 16 to move Batman down. Was going to look at Teddy now but probably should just wait and get round 16 players. Counting those others as keepers can give me the luxury of a couple of sideways round 16 trades if I feel the need also. Harris is one I'm looking at also for 16.
