Guys, not sure if anyone has seen this on Ozbargain but Heritage hoodies for some teams are down to $24.

Pretty dope and just in time for Winter.

Which cow should I be looking at out of To’o, Arthurs, Staggs, Mann, Burns, Robson?

Out of those I would only consider To'o, Mann & Burns

If Burns is named to play I would go for him but he is coming back off a long term injury so if you're a risky fantasy player pick him this round but if you are a conservative fantasy player then I'd adopt the wait & see approach. Note also he doesn't play round 16.
I really liked what I saw from To'o the last couple of games because he's looks to get involved, has a high work rate & has good feet & he has a b/e of -9 this week. Note that he doesn't play round 16 & his next 2 games are roosters & souths but the way he plays imo he'll still go ok against them (I suppose it's a good time to play the roosters & souths due to a few of their players in origin).
Mann is an good pick, plays round 16, is a dpp hok/hlf & has a b/e of 8. With Levy out for 6-8 weeks & with Mann looking like he is the first choice 58th over Watson then he has job security. My only reservation is with Pearce, Ponga & Watson looking to dominate possession then Mann could be living off the scraps.

If you are struggling for round 16 numbers I'd go Mann but if you have heaps of trades left & can afford to pick some non round 16 players I'd go Burns if he's named or if you want to wait & see re Burns then I'd go To'o.

Burns is significantly more expensive than the others so is obviously the best option for an 18th man down the track, but there's still possibility he 1-2 weeks away from return

Out of the cheaper options I'd rate them: Mann, Staggs, To'o/Arthurs, Robson
Mann and Staggs play R16 and have good job security (for Mann now Levi is injured and Staggs as Bird injured and Roberts left club). To'o/Arthurs look like decent prospects (was genuinely surprised when I looked at Arthurs' scores) and Robson is a bench HOK

Depending where you need cover and how many trades I'd look at Mann or Staggs first

Can we safely assume Mann plays 80min at either hooker or in the halves, depending on how Watson slots in? But either way, those two will get 80min in one role or the other? Or fullback if/when Ponga doesn’t back up. But either way, 80min guaranteed for a while?

Surgess having mid-season surgery is a nuisance. I bought him near his peak and have seen him slowly lose value. I wasn't going to trade him out because he could have been a useful INT or even an 18th man.

As he becomes a trade out, it just crystallises the amount I have lost on him. Useless fucker.

I can see Buhrer being named as bench HOK which might mean Watson doesn't play 80 mins if Ponga is playing. I don't think Nathan Brown will do Mary-style spine shift for one player so if Watson does have bench HOK, Mann would play 80 mins. As WL said, because Knights are so left dominant with Ponga and Pearce he may not run the show but should get solid base stats

I was going for McInnes or C. Smith this week but with Ponga possibly not backing up I need a f/b so now my attention has shifted to RTS. The Warriors next 4 games are STORM, titans, PANTHERS & knights so I think that draw is pretty good for attacking returns for RTS.
Of course if Ponga does back up & play & luckily for us he plays the 1st game then I will pass on RTS & go back to going for McInnes or C. Smith.

Just the 1 trade this week i think Rein > To'o

    $461k | 12 trades.

    My team:

    Cook
    Fifi | Haas
    Jurbo | Lolo | Murray
    Dearden | Munster
    Bateman | Nikora
    Ponga | Teddy | CNK

    Smith
    Havili
    Arrow
    Twal

    To'o
    Xerri
    Lomax
    Young

Enough cash to trade Young > DCE but thinking DCE will lose a little bit of money so probably wait another week.

Planning on bringing in McInnes and Dearden this week.
    Next week SST and Tohu.

This week's trade all depends on Murray backing up and scoring ok, if he has a sub 40 score I'll bring in another 2RF

Storm website confirms that Stimson is leaving at the end of the season. Assume Dogs announcement will follow..

EDIT: Dogs announcement is now online haha.

Probably brining in a 2RF and a WFB. RTS the fullback, need to go a week early with a possibility ponga rest. 2RF between Kbrom and SST. Caveat being origin carnage then plans will change.

Its a decent forward pack they'll have, Tolman Napa CHN and Stimson at the expense of a reserve-grade quality back 5

I wouldn't have a clue how many points Mann will score this week because the last 2 games at 58th he's scored 54 & 22. Mann seems 1 of those players that can go big or small but hopefully he can settle on the 30-45 point range.

    From the Mole

"James Roberts’ arrival back at Redfern couldn’t have been better timed.

Boom young centre Braidon Burns was due to return from a hamstring injury this weekend but broke down at training recently and could be out for at least another three to four weeks"

I was really hoping to trade Kahu to Bateman this week, but I'm just short this round.

So far my trades this week will be:

    Kahu + Young > Staggs +To'o

These trades free up enough cash to get Bateman next week, but also give me much-needed centre and fullback cover and a round 16 player, in Staggs.
This leaves my team for the week as:
    Cook
    Haas, Fifita
    Murray, Jurbo, Tolo
    Munster, ARey
    Nikora, Staggs
    Ponga, Tedesco, CNK

    Mahoney, AFB, Havili, Dearden
    Brittain, To’o, Horsburgh, Turner

This leaves me with 15 trades and 381k ITB

Obviously this is subject to change depending on TLT and Origin, but hopefully most of my origin players can backup.

    Thoughts on all this?

I did warn people. The combo of the hammie and the ankle was far more severe than either injury in isolation. He should have been sold the week he was injured. The club definitely knows more than NRL physio.....just saying.
