I think I'm going to just have to go one less RD16 player and bring in Bateman at some point. I'm don't want to buy a cheapie CTR for cover when I already have Xerri

Just realised my weekend travel will be over the weekend, 30hrs in transit. From Saturday. Better hope there isn’t any late changes.

I'm gonna be up in the mountains, possibly with no phone coverage over round 18.

I'm also gonna be out of the country for round 21 which also coincides with the First Bledisloe Cup game.

My team planner is full of $228k WFBs/CTRs that score 60s.

I guess if I followed my plan better I'd have a higher rank. Something to learn for next time.

At this point your CTRs should be Nikora and Bateman, with maybe someone like Xerri/Lomax as emergency.

Anything other than that is wasting trades on CTR

There’s a lot of upside to Staggs.
His price will rise 150k-200k, plays round 16 and is a good downgrade option for young, Waddell, Cartwright etc.

Bateman Nikora
Teddy RTS/Drinkwater Ponga
McInnes CS9 JFH Brittain
Mann Dearden Xerri Cow

Players in bold are R16 players
Players in italic will be traded out after R16. Will be looking for Hlf coverage (Munster/SJ/Pearce/Milf), WFB/CTR coverage (RTS/Drinkwater/Burns/Cotric) and FRF/2RF (Twal/SST/TPJ) coverage -> Obviously dependant on funds (1 of these 3 positions will probably have to be a base price player).

EDIT: Xerri might even stay in my team all year as CTR coverage as he has the ability to post big scores and I got him at base price anyways.

This will hopefully be the last time I have to make a decision about which shit CTR to play - but out of Xerri (Eels) and Lomax (Dogs), it has to be Xerri right?? Especially with Lomax being shifted back to CTR

Agreed.

The only reason I'm having a bit of a look at CTRs is I'll need to trade out Xerri in r17 - leaving no cover for the run home. I'd like to have some cheap average cover from a r16 body to save a trade later on - if Bateman/Nikora miss a game or two. If no one fits this criteria then I'll run with no cover and cross my fingers.

Holding Young this week until a decent cashout comes along. He can sit at position 17 for now

I have it on Fifita at the moment. I've changed it lots of times though. Smith, Taupau and Taumalolo all had stints holding it briefly this week (so far....)
