The good thing about this round is that all my planned trades involve players that play Sunday or Monday. This gives me the chance to react to any surprise omissions.

Well I think after reading all the anti Mattnz posts the chances of him actually coming back now are very low. Really boys did you have to pile on the cheap shots especially since this all went down over a month ago. I never got offended by anything he posted but what amazed me was all the negative feedback he got. Sure he traded out elite guns & refused to listen to good advice but this hardly makes him enemy number 1.

How cooked is Cotric's leg? It looked pretty bad on Wednesday.

One option to cover Ponga is Xerri and Rein for Cotric and Matterson.

Not ideal but this is what we are all working with so might have to do it.

I'm a fan of all the banter on here, makes playing this game way more fun.

As a newcomer I enjoy the different opinions and a quality blow up makes for a good read at work.

In terms of my team, I dropped to 10th. Not enough of the right bye players. One of AFB or Moses would have saved me. Really want to grab Teddy but will give him a miss for now with the concerns over rest this/next week.
Carty>McInnes for me. Rein>Kenny/Matterson most likely second trade, just short of Smith/Teddy. Could always hold the second trade if Peats bitches it. Will just have 17 as long as someone doesn't pull out last minute. No CTR cover, holding Sivo as WFB cover. Love owning Arey too cheer

Has there been any news on Kenny getting upgraded to Panthers top 30?
I need to trade out Young before tonight’s second game and will bring Kenny in if it happens.

Eh, he'll get over it. A lot of people talked shit about me a few years ago when I bailed and literally 4 people said I wasn't too bad. No one's trolled me or given me unwarranted, or even warranted shit.

The place is hard to leave for the comedy alone, never mind all the great advice if you're willing to weigh it up and live by your decisions.

To be fair, the same thing happened last year and he was back.

People have said it already, but it's the way he posts that causes trouble. He posts with quite an arrogant tone, he typically doesn't entertain others ideas, not publicly anyway, he believes his way is the best way, and there is a distinct lack of humility. To top this off, he starts the season all guns blazing and then two years in a row, when things dont work out for him he disappears. Taking all this into account, it's not surprising he has rubbed people up the wrong way to the extent that many are rooting against him and are celebrating him flop. That's human nature.

IMO it's a bit of a shame. Personalities aside, he pushes the fantasy boundaries, does have a few good ideas, and has made some great calls, among the not so great ones. I'll point out, he was one of the first to really appreciate Booze's strategical approach this year and Booze is going great guns with quite a unique approach to start the year off.

I personally hope he is back next year, but that he takes some of the feedback as constructive criticism, and changes his ways a bit.

    Just my 2c.

A bit torn on captain choice this week.
Feel a bit shit about taking it off Cook, especially with both halves out he may take a bigger role. Then there is Fifita, with a week off, at home, he could have a big game! BUT! TOLO. Coming off a 103, Big Pack against another big pack.

Will you have coin for the other next week? McInness BE is pretty low so he could see a decent jump; whereas, Smith BE is fairly high and could see a bit of a drop before it goes back up, although, Smith tends to score well against the Warriors.

In further news, if anyone is thinking of captaining Tolo this week. It has been raining on and off all week. We are expected to have some rain tonight and showers tomorrow so could be a little wet and slippery.

I agree completely WL. He hasn't even been posting and people are lining up to lay the boot in.

Especially strange as he basically never personally attacked anyone. Amazing given this year we've probably had more flare ups than ever, and the guy who cops the most never retaliated.

If he doesn't want to listen to group advice, who gives a shit. Making strange trades effects nobody but himself.

If Brittain doesn't make it into 17, think I'm going to change to Cook (c). He's going to be their main playmaker and Knights are without Ponga (and possibly Klemmer) so should be on for attacking stats and easier metres from dummy half

I'm in the "traded out Cook" club (in round 12, not earlier in the year). I think it can work in my favour, I wasn't entirely expecting him to get rested this week, but I bet he will get a rest in round 17.

Won't be until round 17/18 that we'll know for sure whether it was a bad idea.

Though if the players I own, such as Reynolds, keep dropping out injured, well then it will definitely have been a bad idea.

Got a feeling he goes big tonight though lol
