Who's out? Rein or ARey

Interested in public opinion over who they would trade out this week.

Looks like we will go Young to Milf as one trade so we have two half (Milf and Deardon)

The second trade is looking likely to be McInness (perhaps RTS), but in any case we need to trade someone out.

ARey has the injury issue with no immediate time line for return (that I know of)

Rein has Peats to contend with and may not maintain his 80min roll - he'd be a trade out the following week probably.

If ARey gets traded we play Rein in the 17.

If Rein gets traded we probably play Havilli.

Thoughts?

I'm in favour of Hold ARey for 2 weeks, then there is week off for rep round and we can reassess then.

We get Ponga back next week so can cover ARey in the short term.

Trades are tight enough that we don't want to spend them trading out final 17 players unless we are certain

I think ARey is too much of a risk for a "keeper" that has at least one bye and one missed game in the next few weeks. Rein is supposed to still be playing a key role so should at least be a point-scorer in the 17. I think Rein has more value in the short term and potentially in the next month or so as well.

and Ponga might play in the halves as cover but in the sense of who's points are replacing AReys, it's Sivo into the 17, right? Who is going to score better while Arey is out, Rein or Sivo?

RTS is likely coming in next week for Rein/Sivo (unless injuries force our hand elsewhere) so that's not really what we should be looking at. And Sivo and Rein will both score for us this week (if they are in the team)

In Peats first game back last year Rein only got 31 minutes. I know that he's starting this time but it's worth considering.

Note that I voted for ARey but would totally change my vote to Rein if I could. Milchy pointed out the thing that I missed. My bad!

If you want me to change it I will - won't be changed officially but I will take it into account in the final votes....

Ironically without your vote changed it was neck and neck. then just recently 2 votes more for ARey which is completely balanced by your changed vote...so its nick and neck again!! lol

Why either? Here’s what I think. Wait until final Titans team. If Rein is benched, trade him for Macca. Keep Reyno. No big news from the club. He probably shouldn’t have played last week, but he’s a tough little cunt and we really needed him. Week or 2 rest is all. Bennett gets teams ready for R22.

The why either Q is simply about maximising scoring. McInness is, according to the forum, a must have in the final 17, so may as well get him now. McInness vs Rein you'd think is a net 10 points at least this week on averages,,, and as time goes on Rein's stock decreases, we'd be a sell next week anyway, if ARey goes this week!

Im honestly 50-50 on it....when I put the poll up I genuinely thought it was going to be Rein in a landslide... 15 - 12 in the end , taking into account Filth's vote, so it was pretty close, but none the less, the tribe has spoken...

Might pay to keep an eye on Havilli,,,, if he absolutely blows up, we could revers the Young Milf trade and go Rein to Milf instead right?

Would give us Havili's score instead of whatever Rein would get...

What I find interesting, is that the majority think ARey will be out long enough to necessitate a trade, but nobody is interested in his replacement. I guess trades are tight enough to worry about bringing in cash cows who you might not be able to ditch again, but I think Doueihi has some fantasy promise
