If it ends up only being 2 trades you could do ARey + Young (one long term useless, one unknown injury) to Watson/Papenhuyzen + R16 2RF (Matterson if Papenhuyzen starts, Harris, KBrom etc)

Not bad mate thanks. I don't mind Harris at his price. I think Matto may play Origin.

So your main issues are Morgan, Sivo and Reynolds on the bench.

Maybe turn Reynolds into a bottomed out guy like Tohu and use the 200k bank to upgrade Morgan to a gun half?

Thanks mate.  Yeah I'm thinking Reyno has to go for sure.  Too much money and I need points.  If Morgan is named at FB again I will have to think long and hard.  None of the gun halves really tempt me though, that's the issue at the moment but beggars can't be chosers I guess.

I'm hoping with the cows injuries Asiata moves back into the forwards so maybe Morgan goes back to the halves.

Cleary pumping out a 45 despite being in nothing is pretty good to me. Moses hitting 50+ in a losing team is good. Brooks quietly averaging 50+. Milford will be dominant half and be in everything for a while. Wighton a great POD option and proven scorer without tries now. SJ and Norman are cheap.

Im a little wary of Harris due to a post from someone not that long ago saying he is playing with an injury. Combine that with his relatively low scores and I think he's a risk.

Might look at SJ or maybe Brooks.

    My trades atm are:
    Mahoney out - C. Smith in &
    D. Walker - Xerri in

My 2nd trade could be - JFH out & Matterson in. I will do this trade instead if JFH is named at prop but if he plays lock I will keep. I could still even pass regardless as we all seem to think Matterson will be playing origin.

Lil Brailey will get a crack at 80 this week with Brailey Snr set to miss the clash with a hyper extended knee.

Tips are hard this week. Lots of injuries going around forcing my hand with a few tips.

I really hope NRLF get their shit together because getting in Papy, Bateman, CS9 and a Keeper/Gun Hlf sounds a lot better than just Papy and Bateman.

What's everyone's opinion around trading Kenny in when he doesn't play Rnd16?

    Is he a keeper?

Do you have enough trades to make him worth it as a cash cow option?

If no to both of those questions then he's not worth getting.

Ok Broncos people who will be the half this week:
    (a) Turpin or
    (b) O'Sullivan or
    (c) Scarlett or
    (d) Dargan

Obviously (c) or (d) is the best scenario because they both cost only 212k. Do Scarlett or Dargan have what it takes to succeed in 1st grade. Thoughts & thanks.

I think round 12 or 13 was the time to do it, ships probably sailed unless you think he'll do a Mahoney and work towards playing 80 making him useful as a 17th/18th man if you're keeping him. Otherwise getting him for two price rises doesn't seem worth it.

Won't be Scarlett, he isn't contracted to us.

Siebold mentioned O'Sullivan twice in his press conference, unprompted. It sounds like he will be the 7. He said "he's been really close to NRL selection for a while", etc. He basically said he will come in, without actually saying those words.

I think we'll see Turpin hold onto the 9.

    Team after trades this week

    Smith
    Fifita, Haas
    Taumalolo, Murray, Havili
    Pearce, Cleary
    Nikora, Bateman
    Ponga, Tedesco, RTS

    Cook, McInnes, Taupau, Dearden

    Xerri, Martin, Lomax, Brittain

    $75k and 10 trades.

At the next bye, I'll try and turn Havili/Martin into cashout/keeper. Potentially ditch Xerri and Brittain at the same time and then have 4-5 trades for the run home (accounting for a trade or two between now and then that will undoubtedly pop up).

SOS looked really good in the trial against Titans. Had a really good calm head and knew how to steer the ball around. Would really allow Milf to do his thing without him getting exposed I think. 485K is a shit tonne of cash for someone with limited NRL exposure. I would rather take the leap at Papy at that price. I wonder if SOS does well will he keep the spot for the year
