Benefits of Milf: Better average than the other 2, good POD (4.5% owned) and plays the extra game in R16.
Drawbacks of Milf: Does not kick goals, and is more expensive.

Benefits of Hunt: Biggest POD (2.7% owned), costs 70k less than Milf
Drawbacks of Hunt: Does not play 16, does not kick goals

Benefits of Moses: Still a good POD (6.5% owned), kicks goals and costs 100k less than Milf.
Drawbacks of Moses: Does not play 16, is a bit less consistent

Benefits of keeping Munster: Saves me a trade
Drawbacks of keeping Munster: Recent scores are poor, does not play 16 and is not a POD (16.8% owned)
I personally think to hold Munster for one week and if he flops sell to Milford

NRL clubs have been told to prepare for work on ANZ Stadium to begin after next year’s State of Origin. Means Canterbury and South Sydney will play half the season at ANZ before moving, likely to Bankwest. Also means 2 grand finals likely to be at SCG. Full story @aus_sport

Im a bit surprised people so keen on SJ. I know his price is decent but when's the last time he strung 12 injury free games together? I haven't looked at his stats but I feel like this is the third year in a row where he has had pretty major injury issues.

I wouldnt mind doing that but the problem is that Munster's BE is over 70 and will lose a stack of cash if he flops. I'm personally leaning towards Moses because of the goalkicking and also that he has a good run home with 5 of the last 9 games at Bankwest.

Injury issues would be only problem for me mate, massive risk but i'd back him to average over 52 from now till end of season if he goes clean

Good but better out there either playing 16 (KBrom, Twal, Finucane a bit less) or not playing extra game but averaging higher (JTurbo) Tried to keep list to those not as heavily owned on here (Murray, TLolo, Taupau)

For me the options are keep Munster or grab Milf.

Milf has the best average and plays an extra game. Therefore the trade nets you 60 points.

But he costs you $60k and a trade.

So I think the decision depends on the make up of the rest of your team, what you plans are through to round 17, how many trades you want to have left and therefore what makes the most sense.

If you are set on selling Munster then my advice would be to get Milford. But the choice is up to you

Sideways as they come dumping Munster for Moses as both play the same amount of games, no one was considering Moses in his high 30s run, got to look at bigger picture

If you had extra trades i'd consider Munster to Milf/SJ/Brooks (extra game POD value) or DCE averaging higher. But those are LUXURY trades

That's the big if though mate. I owned him last season and the problem with a guy like him is if he gets injured, at his price and his position, he's an automatic trade. You'll need to make sure you have a trade up your sleeve IMO if you wanna risk him.

Also 52? Thats better than his average from last year and 3 points better than what he was going at for the first 5 games of this year prior to being inured....

If I had to bet on it, I'd say he averages 50 when healthy, but 45 overall once you take into account the 15 minute injury affected game he is odds on to have before the season is out... Smile

Its a tough one mate, I can see the appeal, but theres a huge risk there. He's an option for those that go into the final 8 games of the season with 4 or more trades up their sleeves IMO!

Fair enough, and you bring up a good point. The only thing is that I need to free up some cash to get more guns in, and I just don't think the extra 100k is worth it for Milf as compared to Moses, as I could get another gun in with that money. Also, I want my #1 half to be goal kicking if possible which makes Moses the man. Both him and Milf have similarly good runs home

The Charlie Sheen in me went a bit crazy and I brought in one too many hookers.

Who do you guys back to hold the rest of the year?

    Farah (UP) or Mahoney (Down)

    Cheers lads.

100% the risk is REAL bro, type of trade that can swing a season. Both ways

Previous 5 seasons average is a tick under 54 so his seasons start 49 not too far off an injury free run and put him around that 52 mark

He was really building a decent rapport with Nikora and that edge could be deadly

HUGE risk, Huge reward at his current price

Tough. I am actually selling them both this week.

Farah isn't getting the minutes unfortunately. Will this change and he goes back to 80? I don't know. Think it safer to say no and jump off now before he loses you too much cash.

While Mahoney has peaked. Has been a great cash cow, but playing 80 and getting 35 is not what you want as a floor in your side.

IF I had to keep one.... I would gamble on Farah, probably.

Because some of us (I mean me) have no money left for flash things.

Just gotta make do with the budget I have.
