Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 60
Surely even though Slade Griffin is said to return R16-18 that he would be less effective than last year. Didn't his leg practically shatter the ACL injury was that gruesome. Any Knights fans know if he's returned to training and the like, like surely he'd need to regain fitness and stuff and Watson would remain starting HOK

Any news on D Brown, tempted to flick him of for some WFB coverage of either To'o or Simmonson.

Planning on holding for this week, re-evaluate after the rep round, or maybe the 2nd bye

Bank: $103 000
HOK: D. Cook
FRF: A. Fifita, P. Haas
2RF: C. Murray, M. Taupau, J. Taumalolo
HLF: A. Reynolds, K. Mann
CTR: J. Bateman, B. Nikora
WFB: J. Tedesco, K. Ponga, CNK
C. Smith, R. Farah, R. Mahoney, M. Rein
Z. Lomax, B. Xerri, T. Dearden, B. Brittian
At the moment I am thinking Rein + Arey/CNK/Mahoney This week. I definitely need a HLF or RTS this week if not both. For the cheapest option of Rein and CNK out I could get M. Moses and RTS
Good moves, I think. Go for it.

Some risk certainly with Buhrer in 14 and Ponga backStormTrooper96 wrote:How much of a trap is Watson?
No Ponga and Lino no doubt helped him.
Gets key role in 16 if you can afford for him not to HAVE to be first 17 in other weeks. Wouldn’t want to rely on him for run home.

Watson is prone to some MTs, he isn’t going to have Klem in the middle all game either soaking up tough runs with watson jumping on, ive got a fairly decent points outlay from Watson but for treads I’m at this point he is a slight worry
I’d still probably take a risk though if I didn’t already have him

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 60
dont usually ask advice for my trades but this week is specially tough
CNK>RTS
Dearden> Hutchison (free up some $)
Tolman> Pearce
Young > Staggs
$244k ITB
Team
HOK: Cook
FRF: Fifita, Haas
2RF: Lolo, Murray, Taupau
HLF: Pearce, Munster
CTR: Xerri, Bateman
WFB: Ponga, Teddy, RTS
Bench: Havili, Nikora, McInnes, Staggs
EMG: Whitbread, Hutchinson, To'o, Brittain
abit light on my bench i know but with $250 itb i can focus the next few rounds on filling it out with 2 more keepers... as i think my starting 13 is done.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 60
Without getting Watson, and wanting to afford other guns (CS9, Bateman) which means I can't afford the gun HLFs playing R16 instead of Watson (Brooks, Milford), he still looks like one of the better options
Other WFB/HLF options are: RTS (shocking form), SJ (want him in 1-2 weeks at discount)
I think with Knights taking down 2 of the gun teams (albeit weakened Souths, but Knights also weakened) and if they put up fight/win v Storm, surely Nathan Brown just sticks with the winning formula

He’s worst case a bit of half/wfb cover which allows you to scrap Dearden Garrick or anyone similar sniffing around. I personally own AJ Brimson so not sure I need himWelshy wrote:Watson is prone to some MTs, he isn’t going to have Klem in the middle all game either soaking up tough runs with watson jumping on, ive got a fairly decent points outlay from Watson but for treads I’m at this point he is a slight worry

Just crazy round where my early pre season iteration would have beat my team which was in the top 10...

I am holding. Hope he only misses 1 more game and i think the Rabbits will be roaring into the finals. Their run home is pretty balanced with some 50/50 and 70/30 games in there that Bennett will have the Bunnies up for. Solid hold at least 1 more week with other fires to put out (Tolman, JFH) would also like to give my kindest regards to Sivo. Served me well after i bagged him from his first couple weeks.
My trades so far are
Sivo > CS9
Tolman > Bateman
JFH > Watson
Dearden > Robson
37K remaining (Not particularly happy with this)
My mob is
Cook (c)
Fifi Haas
Taupau Murray Tolo
Cleary Watson
Bateman Xerri
Teddy CNK Ponga
McInnes Smith Martin NPR
Xerri Mann Robson Arey
Not a fan of my bench
Any ideas of someone/somewhere i could go different?

Can't be playing Staggs mate if you can help it. I don't trust Hutchinson's JS either but could play 16.
