Not sure mate. I guess the first step is getting all ten teams in there. Once that's done I can do that straight away.

Need to then chose a draft day. Was there consensus on that?

I usually can t make the live draft cause outside of work Im typically tied up with kids so I'll just roll with what ever works best for the majority.

Assuming we target an AUS/NZ friendly time, itll have to be a weekend. The draft client only runs in NYC prime time, which is about 5am to 3pm AEST time. So unless majority are unemployed (theres bound to be 1 or 2 kiwis.....) weekdays arent great to work with.

Having said that, I dont care when. I'll figure it out.

Just an idea, won't throw my toys if not adapted... what about just reversing last years draft order ? Each year i have been at the back end of the draft / snake. If there is others who have similar qualms, could be a solution.

Not that im against it really but, issues with it;
- The blokes in the middle get stuck in the middle, which kinda defeats the purpose of a rotation type system.
- How do the promotees and demotees from the previous season fit into the new order?

Having said that my prefereance for draft order would be to pick the margin on an NRL game/round and closest gets top pick, second closest gets second pick, etc etc. Not sure if we have enough time to sort that.

Im crazy busy with work at the moment, so if we can collectively come up with a draft time, let me know what it is and I'll lock it in.

Alternatively, from memory last years time was a Saturday or Sunday morning NZ time ~10:00 or 11 am. I guess we revert to that if an alternative cant be agreed upon.

Thoughts?

I think with the draft order, it probably makes sense to just randomise it. We are a little short on time and so agreeing on an alternative might be tricky.

That said, if we can find a method that no-one objects to Im fine with that.

Ahh okay I didn't think we normally reactivated it but yeah I am in then. Cheers and keen to get a draft time nailed down.

Saturday good for me, for the draft.

OK I'll see if I can generate the draft order now...

EDIT: I've pencilled in a draft time and date (that can be changed) and randomised the draft order. I cant actually see what order got generated though. Does that happen closer to the time? ir am I just not seeing it?

He's been mentioned a few times on Hard Knocks. He seems to be struggling slightly with the conditioning and pace of the game but is a fair chance to end up just inside the roster or on PS.
