I dont have them in any league so its a bit of a meh point... but DST scoring is incredibly harsh in fantasy. Bears only allowed 10 points, 5 sacks, 213 yards. But only have 9 points to show for it. Some fat tight end falls over for a 30yd TD and scores that many in one play. Bah humbug. So undervalued.

    And it's come to this.

The Raiders have released wide receiver Antonio Brown, the team announced Saturday morning.

Having traded the Steelers for Brown in the offseason, the former All-Pro receiver never played a down for the Raiders as he's been released just two days before the team's season opener.

Very true. He’s not really in the RB discussion at all because of it, but exciting Flex option in PPR

Add to that he has punt returns and as one of the quickest in the league, some cheap yards points each game

So how does this work with the Draft picks the Raiders gave to the Steelers ?

And why is it ok for this to go on and be resigned by the patriots 1 game into opening weekend ? Joke.

Anyone know why he wanted to be released ?

Apparently he couldn't get his head around the different time zones.

Supposedly due to his blowup at Mayock his contract situation became "week to week" and he was told he could either do the right thing each week in order to be paid or walk. So he chose to walk lol

yeh this whole thing is really fucking shady, it's pretty clear that AB never had any intention of playing for the Raiders, and the quickness and lack of hesitation from the Pats to sign a player raising an infinite amount of red flags daily is suspicious to say the least.

Im guess that all stands. Unless there was some kind of clause in there, they knew what they were getting with AB so take the risk and didnt work out. Pats will be in the same boat. They just have a system where there is no bull shit, and likely they will have been very smart with the contract they offer him. I.e. Josh Gordon last year. Thats my guess, I havent seen the details though.

They stay with the Steelers. It isn't their fault it didn't work out.

He will have his official contract Monday so can't play Week 1.

From what I heard Raiders had a renegged on part of his guaranteed deal (Which They are allowed to do) based on his off field antics damaging the raiders brand ect. ect. That made him spit the dummy again (Less than 24hrs after making up with the team and a heartfelt apology to the team.) On Twitter asking for his release when he heard it.

He has the same manager as Shady and both got cut and less than 24hrs got signed.

Cheers fellas, I just find it interesting, gud to engage and chat about it. Regardless of the rules and what's ultimately A ok, I just think it is hugely wrong and has to be corrected somehow down the line. Imo Brown should not be able to be released and resigned at this stage of a season. What an absolute wank he is.

Oh yeah the bloke is a toss but now the GOAT has another weapon at his disposal. The Pats are going to look good. Edelman, Brown, Gordon, and White/Michel If he has learned to catch. Going to look good.

    Yeah very true @Ryno

Tinkering with the scoring maybe, to make it more fair.

Sigh Evans being Questionable meaning I had to pick up a late game WR just in case he's out. Fingers crossed he's all good (which it sounds like he will be, just didn't want to risk a R1 guaranteed 0)
