Fucking hell. Looks like Last Week Part II. I had seven pieces of shit oh whoops I mean players score 35 and below last week. This week I already have a 5 & 12 after game one, and two under 40.

I had Xerri sitting down low in my reserves, as I did for both his massive scores, but I had the grand idea this week to bring him into my centres and put Bateman on the bench. What a brilliant fucking move that proved to be.

Fair enough you can plan for a HIA, but CNK... what the fuck? That's going to be a big chunk of cash lost there. Fucking muppet. Fancy having both he and RTShit in the one team. With everyone expecting RTShit to go big tomorrow, I expect he might outdo CNK this week, with a 13.

    Fuck this game.

    lol. But seriously, fuck it.

In all seriousness, though... despite a slightly underwhelming score compared to what we're used to, I thought Nikora looked a lot more likely tonight with Johnson back. Had a few loose carries / strips go against him, but generally I actually thought there were good signs going forward.

    Everything else - fucked.

CNKs score really hurts. Thank fuck I swapped Xerri out of my 17. Hopefully Martin can score well

Started last week 4/152, tonight I am 4/154 so hopefully the rest of the team does the job again

Yep, I'd be taking that 38 for sure.

I should have gone RTS over CNK... hindsight
At least I didn't get hit with the Xerri bullet, which should help me gain a few spots this rounds

Painful for xerri owners that two of duges tries would have been his.

What are the thoughts on bringing in J.Hughes for Dearden and avoiding Xerri's score at first emergency?
Our WFB's are looking somewhat fragile ATM. CNK on a downward curve, RTS the victim of his earlier success with teams moving heaven and earth to avoid giving him the ball and the Nakarima effect.
Teddy going for a break but who knows when. I know it means two trades but Hughes is playing well at the moment ( pappy breathing down his neck )but he looks solid and will start Rd. 16 barring injury.
This will give me a viable alternative for Xerri ( on the loop ) guilty as charged and dare I say it some back up if it Watson ( loves an injury ) gets moved to another position or on the dreaded bench.
T.Turbo is on everyone's minds but... and its a big but, has he turned the corner reference injuries.
State of Origin looming for him with Cotric injury the final nail in the coffin for the likeable Raider.

RTS scored 28 vs the Storm and everyone wants to trade him out. TTurbo scored 28 vs the Cowboys and everyone still thinks he's the third WFB gun, even without Rnd 16 and at 130k more. Go figure.

On your question, I think Hughes is as decent a buy as any. Job security fine, he moves to 5/8 if Papy gets a run, and you'd expect Storm to finish the season strong.

Hughes is also a bit of a risk with changing to the core at Storm right now isn't he?

I think Watson and To'o are both good buys this week still.

Nikora up to 46. Fifita & Havili up 1. Bateman, CNK, SJ, Wighton stay the same.

Jeez, that's significant. He did seem to have a pretty decent game, and minus those strips / lost balls, would have obviously been even sexier. Nice.

Thank you Rhino and Kiwi for responding with good insights. I cannot bring myself into getting To'o ( Rd. 16 ) unfortunately. Staggs as previously mentioned
is a good footballer who does not equate his style of play to good fantasy scores ( so far ). Might have a go with Hughes as I need a differential to the top teams
who are starting to look similar to each other. Ranked in the 40's ATM so will have to do something for a surge or just peter out for not giving it a go.

Yeah, go on then! Roll the dice mate. Leave it all out there. God loves a trier. Leave no stone unturned. Spin the wheel. Shoot for the sky. Throw a cat among the pigeons

in a weird way, it's kind of freeing to be already so far off the pace halfway into the season, shit that would've ruined my weekend a month or two ago, just gives me a sarcastic chuckle at worst these days.

Welp, not going CNK->Teddy was a masterstroke. FFS. I’m blaming the missed season on jet lagged/drunken idiocy. Now to look forward to 3 weeks of rage-trading!
