If Drinkwater somehow tables an average of 45-50 for R15 and R17, I may grab him as a half at about 617K

In reply to Stormtrooper from the last thread. I will grab Coates too for Dearden if he's an in. Seems like he could just secure a spot out of nowhere.

Who should be my final 17th gun? This is all according to plan which never happens but hypothetically.

Milford, DCE, J Turbo, T Turbo, Munster, Hunt, N Brown, Maybe Klemmer if he regains form?

I'll have 2 trades for the run home so do I consider a position I'm weak in like HLF so I can cover for it easier or do I just go for the most consistent option like J Turbo? My HLF's are going to be Moses/SJ lol

I wouldn't be able to afford Milford until after R16 so that rules him out as an obvious choice.

Broncos tend to make pretty good use of their wingers too. Doubt he will be in my 17 a part from R16 but could be a nice WFB cover for the run home... in case. Needs to be added first.

If you have SJ you will want some backup considering his injury history.
As for your list above I pick Turbo due to his red hot form.

Who would he keep out realistically for the rest of the year? Isaako? Shibi?

Yeah, I'm not sure Coates is going to lock down a position, if he gets a game.

Isaako was given personal leave apparently (father is sick), so not actually dropped.

I think Coates would take Shibas position if anything though.

Normally we get journos with info from training, but its been super quiet out of BroncosHQ of late... maybe they all needed a few mornings off after origin though.

Getting named straight at 18 is pretty promising though.

Probably Twal. 225k in the bank and the most expensive player I own that I could sell is Havili lol

I mean I could sideways trade Farah in R16 to someone like Milford instead of buying SJ. Kind of seems like a waste though.

    Just because I like putting my plans on paper and having the recognition and approval of those around me this is my 3 round plan;

R15: 0 trades (will do Dearden to Coates if he is a late in)
    22K, 7 trades remaining
R16: OUT Martin (about 455K) CNK (about 490K) Dearden (348K)
    IN RTS (about 607K) 212K 212K
    284K, 4 trades remaining (11 players for R16)
R17: OUT Mann (about 402K) Watson (about 710K)
    IN HLF [x] 17th man [y]
    2 trades remaining
    SJ (about 548K) 848K
    DCE (about 715K) 681K
    Milford (about 774) 622k
    Drinkwater (about 600K) 796K
    Arey (about 703K) 693K
    Munster (about 737K) 659K

This would leave my team as:

    HOK: D.Cook
    FRF: A.Fifita P.Haas
    2RF: J.Taumalolo C.Murray M.Taupau
    HLF: N.Cleary [x]
    CTR: J.Bateman B.Nikora
    WFB: J.Tedesco K.Ponga R.Tuivasa-Scheck
    BENCH: C.McInnes C.Smith S.Taukeiaho NPR
    EMG: [y] Xerri NPR NPR

    2 Trades remaining for R18-25.

    Thoughts?

Twal is great. If not Twal then SST, Crichton, McInnes, Tevaga, Brooks, Johnson all look like decent options

And I don't think Farah is a final 17 player, he can be sold after round 16 if not earlier.

At least now the Warriors are starting to target the 1 area i.e. the front row that has been a big weakness in the last few years. They got LAM last year which was great, they just signed that young Roosters prop yesterday & they reckon he's pretty good so now if they got a top echelon prop like Lodge it would be awesome. One thing is for sure though the Warriors will have to pay him overs to get his signature.

Not sure how I feel about that. Has he really rehabilitated? If so, good for him. Hopefully he can do a lot of work with at risk youth.
If he's just putting on a facade for the NRL then he can fuck off.

Warriors have to be very careful not to pick up any further players with toxic issues. We've done so well lately in that regard and we're moving forward as a club.

From what I've seen and heard, I think he has legitimately turned a corner in his life.

A very quick eyeball. It doesn't make sense to me that you're bringing in a r16 player in r17. With a rejigg, can you target player x (a r16 half?) or player y in r16 instead of r17?

I probably need another look tbh.

Farah is who I'd be selling for the final gun. Might as well keep him for 40 extra points in the bye round though.
