Really swaying my Drinkwater decision. Sounds like a bit of give me the ball and see what holes I can find kind of guy.

Storm round out their top 30 with these 4 signings;
Isaac Lumelume - CTR/WFB from Newtown Jets
Cooper Johns - Half from the Falcons (Matty Johns Son)
Aaron Pene - FRF from Capras (142 metres/games, 46tb's in 14 games this season)
Darryn Schonig - FRF from Falcons (went to school with him)

Cook
Fifi Haas
Tolo Murray Taupau
DCE SJ
Bateman Nikora
Teddy Ponga RTS/Drinky (whoever peaks my fancy this weekend)

I think I am set on this. No more "final plans" guys
Hopefully 2 trades can get me through the last 7 rounds
If you're tossing up between RTS and Drinkwater - remember Drinkwater is DPP so potentially helps your final team more in terms of positional coverage.
At the moment, if one of your halves is out, Ponga is your only move there, right? No other halves back up unless your $741k player is a half, which I think it has to be. A number of good options at that price which is good.

Cheers mate. This weekend is a tryout between Drinky and RTS. Will pick the best out of these two next week. I have Mann in my EMG that can play HLF, assuming he either keeps the 6 or a bench role. If out for 1-2 weeks mann fills in, if out long term I use a trade. I think the 714K has to have WFB in him.

Also interesting to see how similar my team is to yours.
Only difference is in our 17s the halves - you have DCE/SJ. I have Pearce/Brooks... looking at bringing in SJ for the bye round so our differences will come down to:
DCE vs Pearce
741k vs Brooks

That is interesting. Starting to see a lot more team pick up SST. This is also why I am leaning towards Drinky as a POD and hoping the 741K can be PODDY

I can't believe Garrick and Sivo are still in my team! Every time I've gone to move them on, either Sivo pumps out a decent score or I've got bigger fish to fry!

Wasnt training in the "first 13" so would seem unlikely he is coming in.
Of course, players swap around positions during training so not a sure thing.

Although I would have preferred Matterson (had him at the start of the season), I went with SST purely for the price and hope he can average 50+.

I missed the Sivo express, he would have been a great pick-up. Made a nice 300kSpuddies wrote:I can't believe Garrick and Sivo are still in my team! Every time I've gone to move them on, either Sivo pumps out a decent score or I've got bigger fish to fry!

Dunno if the Warriors talk may turn his form or whatever though. Last 3 round average of 54 and I know last year when we all sold him he actually gunned it with some big scores.

Before the year started I said either Lodge or McLean would finish with an average of 50+. Lodge is currently 45 and McLean 49.5. Still a while left to go.

With all the Twal and SST talk, I'm tempted to take a punt on Lodge.
I'm with you Wolfy. If I had to choose between the 3, I would take Lodge. 5 Round avg is better for Lodge including the base stats. Have factored in SST's injury round.
