From my point of view having those extra 4 players would be gold & I probably would of been able to replace Ponga & have 17 players instead of 16. Of course this would mean you can't have your reserves & emg's full of hookers.
I like the challenge of the current format, it requires an adjustment in strategy, especially around State of Origin. We can no longer afford to carry more than 1 npr on the bench. I only just managed to field 17 this week with Dearden and Brittain as nprs. Whitbread and Havili making up for Fifita and Ponga absences. Havili's 11 points marginally better than the Ponga 0

You'd think nearly 40 years of being ripped about Trevor Chappell's underarm would harden people up but I guess not

I had SST/CNK covering Fifita/Ponga this week and my team still coming up short points wise.

    It's been a rough year

Sitting on 701/13 which seems to be well below par again this week. I haven't even had anyone do that badly really, so I'm not sure where it's all going so wrong.

I'm off to the wilderness again today for work until the Monday after round 17. So no access to my team or late mail until late at night.
I'm expecting round 17 to be a huge mess of late outs that I won't be able to do anything about. Probably a good thing my team is already on the slide down the ranks.

I hope everyone has a good few weeks and team lists are kind.

749 with Nikora, Xerri, RTS to play. Below par thanks to the optimistic/stupid inclusion of Carrigan. Ah well.

Oh, and can someone else downvote Verbal’s post above? It needs to be neutralised. But it is ok if they don’t.

Sorry, RTS is scoring 19 this week because I traded him in for CNK and that's apparently just how it works.

Haha, I'll be spending my nights in almost civilisation. Somewhere with bad wifi and hopefully a heater at least. But won't be getting back there until 7:30ish each night. Bit cold for camping.

Edrick Lee failed to finish the Knights game last night after suffering a suspected broken arm. If confirmed the usual recovery range is 4-8 weeks to allow for adequate bone healing. If surgery is required does not automatically mean max recovery time.

Concern for Richie Kennar is left shoulder dislocation as he falls onto outstretched left arm. If confirmed usual treatment options:
Minimal damage/instability: strengthening rehab for 3-6wks
Significant damage/instability requiring surgery: shoulder reconstruction & 3-6 months

Coates and Moga surely become options now??

We are looking pretty good. Nathan Lyon makes a difference. India will be hard to beat this cup.
