Surely Watson is on the field somewhere for 80 mins. He is fucking wasted on the bench.

Don't panic yet, not sure if Levi will be even starting.

Watson has been excellent for Knights, even if hooking role is timeshared, would expect him to be on the field for the majority if not nailed on 80

I suppose owning Watson for months, it doesn't feel as bad in these types of scenario because he hasn't been a 1/2 week bye rental for me

his average in the halves is around the 45 mark anyway, so not soul destroying

I think your plan is sound. Risks are of course that Tevaga doesn't get the role you're expecting and/or Koro comes back on the early side and then you are burning trades to fix it that you don't have, but most are low on trades. And your reserves would be weak but most teams would be too. You would have an excellent 17 though, probably the best you could get in your situation. But man you are going to have to hold on for grim death the final rounds.
Cheers mate, Watson has thrown a spanner in the works already lol

If he was on the field somewhere for 80, there is a good chance I'd just ride him home.

I'm considering Klemmer instead of SST this week but it means I probably won't be able to change my 18th man from Mann whereas with SST I can afford Burns for Mann as 18th man if I get around 30k this week in price rises between Watson, Xerri and Mann

    Thanks

I was leaning towards Klemmer but Matterson’s recent form is the only thing holding me back

Sims judiciary result might force my decision

I'm not keen on going balls to the wall and losing all my trades and praying, my main problem is my decent cash makers are all playing this weekend so don't want to lose them until after they play

    Watson
    Papy
    Robson

But I need to make some moves to get the cash available for R17 and onwards and getting my best 17 on the field asap

McInnes HAS to come in this week, nailed on final 17 player playing R16. Can wait on Cook after 17

Last player is up in the choice for the halves. SJ this week at a bargain price, Ponga back to WFB or Ponga half with Moses and Turbo at the back?

Milf loses some value for me not playing this week and probably next, so Brooks was the right choice for buyers last week

Fainu/Klemmer are the guys I really want but not sure if I can fit in and would require a trade of the Murray ilk?

    Thoughts?

Early mail has SST in doubt this week

Brown said in an ABC interview on the weekend he is looking forward to having Watson and Levi both on the field at the same time jumping out of dummy half, let’s just hope Watson starts and stays on

Fuck it, i'm keeping Murray. He is gun status. He still has an average of 54. Minutes will increase with the final rounds. I honestly don't see Murray getting rested, the Rabbits are on loosing streak and need their best players on the field to ensure they don't loose any further games.

It's interesting how the opinions on a player change in 4 weeks.

4 weeks ago bringing in Watson was opposed by the majority (will score poorly at HOK, will be back to the bench asap) and now he's a saviour for most. Might need to try find that next guy and jump on, I'm hoping that guy is Tevaga

    https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1030-who-to-trade-in-for-rein-has-to-be-a-half-or-wfb

A clear majority of Community team voters thought Watson was a good trade in. A lot of those who didn't go for him was because of the lack of trades left to get him out if when Levi comes back.

People could do a lot worse than follow the herd for trades.
(except this week, they should have gone with the minority, ditching Sivo and keeping CNK)

I asked the question heading into RD13. Couldn't have been at the same time as the poll because
I got a resounding vote in favour of Dearden at the time which didn't go well lol.

Not angry, just showing how quickly things can change.

    Not

Look if the forum could of saw into the future and seen the Watson try, 43 tackles with the 1 miss and 83 points, sure he would of been the trade in

Dearden was far cheaper, more long term in his job prospects and coming off the back of an excellent 54 with more cash to make than Watson

Unlucky he got injured, but was a coin flip and you made the choice it's that simple

If Dearden didn't get injured, he could well have been the better option. I'm [pretty sure I traded him in the same week as you. That is just the way the cookie crumbles

Some times you make good trades and get bad luck

If you're lucky, you make a good trade and get goo dluck

Just have to roll with the punches

What do we think the difference between Tevaga and Klem's scores will be? Getting Tevaga frees up a lot of money to use on getting another gun (I think it'll likely be either McInnes or Turbo once Fainu caps out), while Klem most likely scores more.

Basically need to decide which one is better, keeping in mind that the cash will be used on getting another gun in.

    * Klemmer + 64k

    * Tevaga + 218k

My team this week would be:

    Cook
    Fifi, Haas
    Murray, Lolo, Jurbo
    Munster, SJ
    Nikora, Bateman
    Teddy, Ponga, Wighton

    CS9, Fainu, Tevaga/Klem, TKO

    Xerri, To'o, DBrown, Coates
