I can honestly say having been to a few meet ups it really is great fun with a great bunch of blokes. There’s nothing like staring at stats during a game of footy and not being judged to make you feel part of a community. Even No Worries was a good bloke until he was knighted with his modship.
If anyone is thinking about coming to the Sydney meet up you should definitely do it just for the chance to meet the real godfather. Random is amazing but you haven’t talked stats until you’ve done it with the Cow

I think I was just annoyed by your 'matter of fact' statement about a bloke being banned because such and such without any proof

These are teams with some big names/players demanding more money off contract at seasons end

    Broncos - Glenn, Oates, TPJ,
Sharks - Capewell, Feki (gone already), Gallen, Sorenson, Uele,
Manly - Garrick, Croker, Cust, Gosiewski, Thompson, Walker
Knights - Griffin, Buhrer, Hunt, SKD
Warriors - Luke, Paasi, Tevaga (PO)
Cowboys - Bolton, Cooper, Hampton, Dunn, Jensen, Kahu, TMM, Gideon, Scott, Tuala
Eels - Alvaro (PO), French, Gower, Hoffman, M.Jennings, Mau, Moeroa, Taka, Mannah (didnt he re-sign?)
Rabbitohs - Billy Brittain, Lowe, Sutton, Tatola, Tracey, Turner, Gurgess
Roosters - Aubbs, Cronk, Ikuvalu, Tetavano
Tigers - Farah, Fonua (Gone), Lawrence, Liddle, Marshall, Thompson

I have based this list of players who may have had a breakout year that may be looking to move on to a more prominent role. Also players who may not have been on max contracts but also wouldn't have been on Vet mins. Cows, Eels, Tigers, Rabbitohs, Sharks seem to have some free space next year.

First of what even is the point of bye planning this year?!

First ARey then Milf. Luckily i avoided both was very close to bringing in both the week before.

Second, what happened to DCE? Do we think he's being affected by SOO and/or taking it easy coming back from injury? Surely losing goal kicking isn't the reason why he doesn't seem like a "must have" than he was prior to his injury.

Was pretty set on skipping RTS and just needing DCE to complete the final team but I've think i've decided to finish with this for the final run.

    Smith
    Fifita | Haas
    Murray | Lolo | Jurbo
    Ponga | Munster
    Bateman | Nikora
    Teddy | Turbo | RTS

    Cook | McInnes | Twal | Taupau
    SJ | Naden | Coats | Carrigan

    3 trades left for injuries.

    Just with the Tigers

    Thompson has already re-signed
Lawrence also won't demand more money, he is a great bloke and wants what is best for the club. The bonus of keeping Lawrence is he is the only Wests Tigers player who qualifies for the long-service cap allowance of 300k, so he effectively costs $0 on the salary cap.
I'm thinking Farah will possibly retire at the end of the year
Benji may stay for another year but it won't be for much money
I am hoping Liddle is re-signed ASAP, he is a gun player and possibly the long-term hooker at the Tigers. Bulldogs were keen on him at the start of the year and I imagine there are a few clubs that would be interested.
I also heard that the Tigers are looking to medically retire Ben Matulino which would free up a chunk of money.

We already re-signed Thompson. Farah's likely retiring and Benji might too. Don't think they'd get a whole lot of money if they stuck around either way.

DCE averaged 6 points a game from goal-kicking prior to his injury.
That's a lot of points lost through not kicking goals

    https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/01/23/2019-nrl-signings-player-transfers-and-contracts/

This contracts page seems to be kept up-to-date. Has the Aloiai re-signing already updated and was announced less than 24 hours ago.

Although now I see it hasn't updated Thompson yet.

Yeah but I was listening to the NRL Late Mail podcast on nrl.com and they said there is increasing likelihood he will be fit for R17 (around 25.30 on podcast)

Barry Toohey answered question saying he won't be risked for R17 unless 100% which indicates that if he is fit he could play R17
