Concussion refers to a mild traumatic injury to the brain without an associated structural abnormality such as bleeding. It may occur with or without loss of consciousness. While concussions can occur from direct impact, many occur without any contact to the head
I think I was just annoyed by your 'matter of fact' statement about a bloke being banned because such and such without any proof
Fair enough haha
Id say a majority of concussions in the nrl are from contact with the head and late hits account for the ones that arent.
In either case, it goes on report tell ya story walkin. Go peel the oranges for a coupla weeks

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 67
Hey guys, looking for any word of advice and greatly appreciated!
Ranked 28 and have 5 trades left with an almost-completed team. Was thinking of still burning two in the coming weeks in order to bring in Cook (one of JFH or Mahoney to Fainu next week in order to upgrade Martin or Tevaga to Cook the week after). Is my plan to ride the season out on just 3 trades cookoo-bananas even if I have semi-decent coverage (Watson for backs/halves, Tevaga/Martin for forwards)? Or should I just hold tight on 5 trades and go without Cook? And if you think it's not crazy, how does burning an extra trade of Mahoney/JFH>Matterson sit with you and planning to ride the last 8-9 rounds on just 2?
Current team:
Smith
Fifita Haas
Taumalolo Taupau Twal
Moses SJ
Bateman Nikora
Tedesco Ponga RTS
McInnes Mahoney JFH Tevaga
Martin Watson Carrigan Kahu

I have 79k, not enough to turn those aforementioned fringe-keepers into him, and don't want to trade one genuine gun for another

I don't think you need to burn the Matterson trade since you are already a little low on trades and already have good amount of players for this roundPookus McFly wrote:Hey guys, looking for any word of advice and greatly appreciated!

Cook is a must-have imo
Maybe Kahu > Coates this week and Watson > Cook next week

Bugger. I think Cook is a must for the run home mate. I'd be getting him and running with the 3 trades for injury cover. Good luck, you've smashed it this year!Pookus McFly wrote:

Cook is either the number 1 or 2 player in the game so he’s a must have.Pookus McFly wrote:Hey guys, looking for any word of advice and greatly appreciated!

I’m hoping he only plays half a game next week, drops a heap more cash and has a high BE the week after.
Might be able to pick him up for around 750k in 2-3 weeks.

I just realised I'm willingly trading in not just 1 but 2 of the Warriors playing staff!!
This game has finally broken me, next week I'll captain Isaako!

Haha I'm sorry.
Amazing how at one time he was considered by some an outside chance of the fantasy armband.
Note: it's one of my all time favourite fantasy moments, honestly

This would leave me with a strong 18th and 19th man, but no coverage in the backs of Coates doesn't stick around. I really think I need to keep Watson for that reason. Kicking myself for trading CNK last round now

You still see a lot of concussion symptoms due to whiplash from being hit heavily against momentum/being hit unexpectedly and when the head makes heavy contact with the ground after a big, legal tackle.
In saying that, Tariq plays on the edge of what is a great hit and what is careless and he often gets it wrong. He is the kind of player that needs to change how he plays because he although we love the big hits, he gets it wrong too often.

Thanks for the input guys! Think you are all right, and Cook is a must-have. Might hold off on Matterson and just wait a week to see what happens with Cooks price drop and decide from there.

My tips are:
Unders (34 points) @ $1.80
Roosters 1-12 @ $2.80
Roosters HT tie @ $13
