SJ's 0/3 last week was costly. Sounds like Sharks are expecting to cross the line a few times against the rookie Broncs, hope they're not getting too ahead of themselves Laughing

well that's next years HOK cash-cow sorted, cheers Sharks.

on a seperate note, what do we nickname those two? the Burgess method doesn't work because Blake is still Brailey and that's confusing... J-Brai & B-Brai?

I meant starting LK for every game is a best case scenario, didn't really phrase that clearly, but even if he averaged above 50, it wouldn't be by much.

He averaged 46.3 last year playing the same minutes as he is currently.

Even taking away the 2 injured games this year he's averaging 48.4

Just because he was promoted to start, doesn't mean he'll get more minutes by default. Guys like Murray and Arrow only play in the 60 min range too. Jake and formerly JFH were the only LKs getting bigger minutes from memory

Last year he averaged 55 minutes including some time at hooker

Starting lock I think he would be getting 60-80 minutes a week - he has played a few 50+ minute games from the bench and I would assume he would get an increase in minutes in a starting role. His two games starting lock he has played 73 and 56 minutes - both games he spent time on the sideline through injury

I’ve already written a fair few posts on why Tevaga will average 55+ starting lock and I don’t want to keep repeating myself

and all the responses are disputing why that's extremely unlikely. He's not above origin quality players like Murray and Arrow to warrant being a 60+ min LK week in week out. That sort of workload will just result in more injures. He's not at Jake Trb levels where he could play the full 80 and surpass Jake's 54.6 avg.

His minutes will likely stay the same regardless of starting, the rotations are just slightly different and he'll be playing against fresh opposition as opposed to coming on when some forwards are starting to tire.

He was a gamble to bring in last week that could make sense for cash purposes, but saying he could've easily scored 65 and made people look dumb I took exception to when there's far more guaranteed players that will average higher.

Pacey's late mail suggests that Bronson Xerri to share the left centre duties with Josh Morris. Will that affect his scoring for potential? ATM, I have him as C in my SC team.

Real life performances do not always correlate with fantasy scores. There are many examples of this including Cooper Cronk, Sam Burgess, Boyd Cordner, Addo-Carr are all real life guns but not fantasy guns
There’s also the reverse, Moses, Bromwich, Mahoney, Cleary all average higher than the reigning dally m player of the year

He has already played big minutes at lock this year and many people have said that he is the warriors best forward so I would think they want him on the field for as long as possible

And there is only 1 player in the game averaging more than 65 (Taumalao) so I don’t know who are the guaranteed players that will average higher

Centre far better than wing for him but it would actually be better for him to be right CTR this week with SJ and Nikora than with Capewell and Feki

If on left he is up against Shibasaki though right who is a poor defender as opposed to Staggs. Someone can correct if wrong.

tbh, though i would back Staggs in every other department, i'd put Shiba's defence fractionally over Staggs.

    SJ, Nikora, Haas and Carrigan.

Very popular choices except the last one and well let's just I'm probably going to be thoroughly whelmed with his score.
