Planned trade for this week is Watson -> Tedesco (if Teddy plays). Annoyingly, Watson plays Friday night, and the Roosters don't play until Sunday. Gonna be a tough call to make on Friday afternoon. Even if Tedesco is named, Robinson could easily make a last min decision to rest tedesco if he has pulled up sore on the weekend.

    Smith MC9 Mahoney Fainu

    Watson Lomax Coates Brittain

6K and 6 trades.  Cashing out Lomax and upgrading Watson seems the move, but will probably need Watson this week with Ponga more than likely out.
You could sell Mahoney or Xerri instead of Watson

DCE will come in to my halves next week for the run home I think.

Just keep in mind that he has lost goal-kicking duties where he got a lot of his points from at the start of the year

Yeah, I feel so dumb having gone Milf to SJ. Was always a risk. But he looked so shit against a team he should have been keen as mustard to play. It’s not often you play such an inexperienced team. Should be taking those opportunities.

Funny now all this talk of jurbo starting up. Considering his quality he has been the least spoken about gun this year. I understand why, SOO and byes made him hard to justify unless u started with him. He has been super consistent, no monster scores I can think of though.

Forgot about Friend. Would guess he’s dropping back to 45-50 mins when that happens.

If Milford plays this week, he might be back in the halves, only because they might not want him having to cover so much distance with a dodgy knee.

I don't know what would be going through Morris's head but you can't go and chuck all the blame on SJ. Moylan isn't the best fullback, they couldn't kick a goal to save themselves, the forwards were pretty hopeless. Other than the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half the Sharks actually looked pretty woeful all across the park. SJ will go missing in games, its the last 5 minutes where he will grab the ball by its nuts and try some steppy, linebreaking shit to win the game and Morris hooked him in the most crucial part of the game. Morris took his hooker off and put a 20yr old halfback in at hooker in such a crucial time of the game. SJ won't be missing any game time. He will be shattered he was hooked. He will go away this week, ask himself why, get mentally ready for the Storm game and come out ready to play. If SJ cops the shit and gets dropped for that game than Morris shouldn't be a coach.

EDIT: Also those feeling silly for trading in SJ. He was a previous 50+ season avg scorer at less than 580K. That is a bargain. He is also the streaky player who will put together a couple 60's than give you a 30 like that and then come out with a 55 and a 40 and then smash out an 80. Rocks and Diamonds guys... rocks and diamonds. I don't know anyone who would've brought SJ expecting him to get 53,52,54,51.... Thats not his game.

I'm pretty much looking at the same deal options in the same way... have the same reservations about Jurbo and Turbo. I sold Klemmer at SOO1 as I think there's 3 clear better FRF options and I had them all.

So really looking at halves to partner Arey, especially since I don't trust Johnson and would rather have him 17th/18th. I'm looking at Hunt v Cleary (if fit) but might revisit DCE too. Munster I'm guessing is getting rested at least one game.

As long as he stays playing then I don't really have a problem with the trade. It was more him getting hooked. That's the main concern.

If the next knee to the head is identical expect it knocks a player into next week, they'll serve out a 9 week suspension.

You freed up a bunch of cash going Milf to SJ and a bonus 31 points. As an SJ owner for many years, he's put up those scores plenty of times before, as have many other halves.

If Milf does play, it's under an injury cloud and confirmed to require surgery. As a former Milf owner, he's had his share of low scores too.

Nothing wrong with the trade imo. Community team unanimously agreed on that too.

I think everyone that didn't start with Jake had this round or next to target him. Can only afford a handful of guns to start and I had to strike him off because of origin and kept him in the back of my mind until now.
