Thanks lads.
I do have a question mark on Mahoney indeed but he is a solid option but I know in regards to 4 hookers on my bench. I can indeed hold trades but not having Fifita is a worry ths week, but 1 week shouldn't do too much damage. I guess I have to wait and see for team lists and origin. Paix playing would be damn tempting to trade in allowing me to get Fifita.
Yeah holding might even be the best of all the options.

I'd wait and see on Teddy if he's backing up. May need both CNK and To'o. Assuming you have Teddy since you didn't mention Watson as back-up or to trade.

May look at Burns then double trade next week to get Fifita. Mahoney may become my 18th man if I decide to run light in the halves or backs.

Not going to open my fantasy team until Thursday. Give me a break and a clear look on Thursday after TLT and Origin. Already have a few ideas and will have a look on Thursday at what best suits my team.

I'm pretty much looking at the same deal options in the same way... have the same reservations about Jurbo and Turbo. I sold Klemmer at SOO1 as I think there's 3 clear better FRF options and I had them all.
So really looking at halves to partner Arey, especially since I don't trust Johnson and would rather have him 17th/18th. I'm looking at Hunt v Cleary (if fit) but might revisit DCE too. Munster I'm guessing is getting rested at least one game.
I'm leaning towards a HLF for my final gun. Looking at Hunt's stats he may not be such a risk after all. Once score below 40 all year.
My preference is Munster but the risk of him getting rested is high and the Dragons would be out to try and make a charge to the finals.

I remember someone blowing up over this because Klemmer wasn't even named in the squad.

Most of NSW was blowing up with him not being picked originally

Definitely Jake Trbojevic for one of the guns
I’d have to look at the rest of your team to see which position is lacking the most for the other gun
Cook
Fifita, Haas
Lolo, Murray, Matterson
SJ, Moses
Bateman, Nikora
Ponga, RTS,Teddy
Smith, McInnes, Taupau, Final Gun
When Ponga recovers that'll be the team. Room for only one more gun.

Same I think. Leaning towards Hunt, really want Munster but can’t risk a healthy DNP or two

I think Jake Trbojevic will outscore his brother Tom but with only two trades left, Tom provides you with an extra wfb and half (via ponga)Johnny B Goode wrote:

If you get Tom Trbojevic you will have every position covered except centre which is where you would have to use your trades if Nikora/Bateman go down
Do you have anybody decent in 18-21 or are they all nuffies?

With Tevaga injured I'm not sure I can still make it happen, but that final team is exactly my final team with Crichton as the "final gun".

What a joke, how can kneeing someone in the head not get suspended
yeh that's fucked, how intentionally throwing a knee at a person's head isn't at absolute bare minimum a Grade 1 Striking charge defies belief, Broncos prolly won't care enough because whatever punishment he gets is of no consequence to them, but surely some-one with some pull has to raise some sort of issue, they're a week removed from findings of CTE in past players and talks of legal action, and then a bloke playing UFC under their watch serves zero punishment? ridiculous.

I know we still have a several rounds to go but I was absolutely wrong about assuming Matterson would be a KO/HIA risk for this season. I'm going to regret not having him for the run home.

In reality, he would have only had a 40 something point game without that try.
Yes, I'm a non owner and trying to make myself feel better.

If you got Walters in as a nuff, Munster is a much better bet as Walters would likely cover him if he got rested. I started the year with Munster and am glad I did.

Anything can happen, you can't predict these things. But as a non-owner Matterson's score did sting a bit

You certainly have made me feel better. He only scored 40 last round but his year has been very impressive and consistent.

Yeah, Matto going big really hurts me since I wanted him but couldn't afford both him and McInnes. over on Supercoach, I started the year with Matto and am so glad I did. Just don't have the money or space in my team to get him this year, as I really need FRF cover before looking at more back rowers.
