Yeah mate, my thinking too. what 5-6TB's, line break, 10 odd metres, and the try. 31 odd points, maybe he would have scored closer to 50, but still that try was a massive play.

If you get Tom Trbojevic you will have every position covered except centre which is where you would have to use your trades if Nikora/Bateman go down

Do you have anybody decent in 18-21 or are they all nuffies?

    Robson, Mann, Carrigan, Walters

Pretty much all spuds although Robson is good for 30+ in an emergency.

I did think Tom Turbo was best for team balance but it is pricey spending for an inconsistent position. I probably prefer him as a direct swap for an injured gun than as a final gun option.

Yeah was huge points grab. Only had about 15-20 points in the second half. Was very soft on the Roosters behalf. I will have to pick one of Matterson/Jurbo/Turbo/Klemmer for my final spot. Leaning Klemmer or Matto at this point. I wonder how Arrow will go when he returns. Time off should've given him time to heal 100%, who knows what Garth would do with him though. His minutes are so varied. Not sure whether he will play 45 or 70.

Smith has no plans of retirement at the end of his 2020 contract. Poor BS9 and Grant. They are two really great players and if Smith does go on I would say at least one of them will look at moving on.

I'm in a similar scenario actually. I don't actually need a WFB/HLF but if I get TTurbo I can move Ponga to INT and cover both WFB and HLF

Essentially a conundrum of higher floor players (Jurbo, Friend potentially as a POD if I bought 18th man Burns instead of gun this week) vs high ceiling and low floor players (Moses and TTurbo) which provide better INT cover

    Fifita Haas
    Murray Matterson Taumalolo
    SJ Moses
    Nikora Bateman
    Tedesco Ponga RTS

    Smith
    McInnes
    Taupau
    Mahoney

Is Fifita not an automatic trade in or am I kidding myself because I can't get him back? Last year he averaged 57.2 minutes, before he got injured this year he averaged 61.25 but since coming back he's averaging a touch under 50
His scores are still good and I'm well aware its points not minutes that we're after but there is definitely something there.

Could be something there, but I think he'll be fired up to get the Sharks back on track, and the time off should have his body back at 100%

Gallen hurt yesterday as well (though nothing yet on if he'll miss games)

In his 4 games coming back from injury he has averaged 64.3
    He’s definitely an automatic trade-in

Upgrading Mahoney is the only other thing you could do, but with 3 trades left he’s not a must-sell
Well done on the ranking mate, outstanding effort

There is a try in that sample though. I'd bet large amounts he doesn't average that for the rest of the season

I'm not so sure. At this point of the season there will need to be some prioritising based on trades remaining, cash, team balance etc.

If I had traded Fifita out then I don't think I'd be prioritising getting him back in seeing as I'll need Cook (r18), Turbo (r17) etc

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that Fifita could be an auto trade in if it suits an individual team's needs.

If you take out the 8 points for the try then his 4 game average drops to 62.3

I agree that he won’t average the that high for the season.
I’m predicting that he will average 58-61 by the end of the season

That was the main reason I didn't start with him, plus couldn't be certain how he'd go at the Tigers. But he's proven himself on both points so I got him last week.

You'd have to calculate more than just the try if you were excluding it. Excluding the LB , try and 3 TBs as a rough estimate his 4 game average is roughly 58.75

However I traded him out and am bringing him back in without hesitation

not sure if posted but Jayden Brailey has supposedly signed big 3 year deal with the Knights from next year if he can get a release from the Sharks. Would make his brother the first player picked for fantasy next season as the sharks main hooker.

yes i am already thinking about next years fantasty season lol
