I reckon hold trades this week
There’s not a whole lot you can do this week without using two trades
And 1 trade for the remaining 8 rounds won’t be enough

Need Watson to pull out one of his 80+ games tonight. That would be much appreciated.

Ouch. I've been injury free so far this season, just the odd niggle here and there, but I guess that comes with age. I find that a proper warm-up makes all the difference (when you're 40+). Scored a brace Tuesday night, can't wait to get back on the field tomorrow.

If I trade out Arthars for Burns this week it will leave me $307k in the bank with only Staggs and Kenny to use next week to bring in Cook. At the moment it's a $47k difference. I can't really see that Cook is going to lose enough, or Staggs or Kenny will make enough to fill that $47k gap.

Do I risk all this week and hope I can still get Cook next week, or do I just go with a cheaper, shittier WFB this week?

Ideally I'd just say fuck it and play 16, but I'm in a really shit position in my main H2H and feel like I need 17 for a chance at all. Preferably someone who can piece together some kind of score.

    I already have Coates (covering Tedesco) so the options to cover Turbo, if I don't go with Burns would be;

    DWZ
    B.Morris
    Gutho
    Rapana

They're the only ones I'd consider. Hate them all (not as humans, just as Fantasy scorers), but better than the alternatives, imo.

So I guess my question is, would you go with Burns and risk missing Cook next week?

Or would you go with one of those muppets (who will only be in my emergencies after this week) and definitely be able to afford Cook next week?

    Appreciate any and all advice.

    Fuck this week.

I grabbed him in a draft league a few weeks ago and forgot he was playing CTR.

Hoping for some nice 40+ scores.

If I had trades to play with I'd take a punt too

    Fuck this week.

King Guth isn't the fantasy gun he was in 2017 but he's actually fairly underpriced compared to his non HIA affected average.

Scored under 30 in only 3 of 15 games and had one HIA score of 0 which sent his price plummeting. For a DPP 18th man option who can probably get you 30+ in a pinch he's a good option.

Burns I think might be too good for 18th man. At the current rate if you're flush with trades you might as well trade Nikora for him and take a gamble.

Might as well post my team up. 10 trades left, $771K

I have planned to do Dearden - Munster this week, otherwise I'm running with 15. Anyone else see anything urgent? I don't think Cook is an urgent trade in, especially not this week as I need a Hlf/WFB...

    Smith
    Haas - AFB
    Nikora - Lolo - Murray
    SJ - Munster(?)
    Bateman - Xerri
RTS - Gutho - Tedesco (Yes I know hes out)

    Res: Taupau, Fifita, Whitbread, Mcinnes

    NPR: Makaele, Ponga, Brittain, Walters

    Thanks!

Thanks for something to consider. As an Eels fan it'd be nice to take a punt on Gutho, but he's definitely risky.

Only have 6 trades left at start of this week and pretty set on holding Nikora. I also have Mahoney who I play to use as 18th man, but also deadset on keeping him too. Too greedy, lol?

Gutho... hmm, let me think. How long? 45mins...

    Thanks for the advice.

Interesting reading. The 8 against the Storm, aside from his HIA, is the only real disgrace. And we all remember how that game went. Hmm, maybe not a bad option to take a punt on, it it assures me of Cook.
