Fair enough. I started the year with him also. Was the little engine that could there for a while. I had to play him a few times and did okay. One time was in round 3 for 23 points. It was so I could trade Edwards out and get Bird and Rein in the same week. Worth it.
Yeah that trade would definitely have been worth it. But the happy ending to this tale is that I updated to 1101, so really Kahu has done his job by securing a 2+ Will keep him all year as my team mascot now

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
I was looking forward to lock out so I could make immediate trades, but SJ situation is going to make me wait and see. As well as being unsure about second trade anyway.
Immediate issue I've seen is who I trade out out of Gutho and Staggs. Plan was just to punt Staggs and Kenny this round, but I needed to bring in Gutho last round for a scorer at WFB and hopeful 19th man for remainder of the season. But he is fucking woeful. I know he's scored well earlier in the season, but I just couldn't see today how he could actually score any better than he did for the rest of the season.
If I trade Staggs out I need CTR coverage and as shit as he is as a Fantasy scorer, I'm thinking of holding him and trading Gutho out immediately. Any thoughts on this? With SJ and Ponga (as Pearce) as my halves, I feel like if I traded Gutho out I'd need HLF coverage anyway.
So either way, I think I'm going to need to trade out a HLF for a HLF, or a CTR for a CTR. So smartest thing to do is obviously wait for TLT.
But does anyone see any hope at all for Gutho to be some sort of keepable 19th man?

So essentially we have no further news in whether he's playing or not.
If it came from Barry Toohey I'd believe it. Hooper not so much.

Ponga should be in this week unless he suffers a setback #wookieeswhisphers

Well if SJ's injury is more in the range of 1-2 weeks, at least we'll know by first lock out on Thursday if he's been cut from the 19 man squad for Friday night and definitely before most teams have played given Sharks play the second game of the round.

Fucking aye. 6 teams with a 10/7 record.
8th and 9th have scored more points overall than 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and me in 7th.
Actually crazy

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
Call me crazy but is Shane Wright a genuine back row option?
419k, played 6 games for an average of 33.8 which is meh, but his last 2 games (and the only games that he's had 80 minutes in), he's scored the following.
61 points - 45 tackles, 1 TB, 133 metres
54 points - 47 tackles, 2 MT, 111 metres
I'm seriously looking at selling DBrown to him as DBrown was trash and lost money this week, it seems Moses will starve him of stats.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
1030 sees a small move backwards in the ranks
Crichton>Cook locked in as trade 1
Trade 2 I need to find a half so it will depend on SJ injury severity
If short term Fainu>DCE
If long term SJ>DCE
Some how ended up with a bunch of hookers and no halves
If Ponga is back I can probably wait a week to assess severity

I know that feel of lots of hookers, I've currently got 5 of them (Cook, CS9, McInnes, Fainu, Tevaga), though will sell Fainu once Koroisau returns

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
Obviously I was wrong but I thought I would get Whitbreads a.e. score of 27:
C. Watson in my starting halves, he plays & locks out
Turbo in my starting wfb's & when he was officially out I trade Havili to Munster thinking Watson would be moved down to my wfb after the last game, Munster into the halves from INT & I get Whitbreads score from my EMG.
Obviously because I traded in Munster after Watson locked out then Watson stays in the halves & my assumption was wrong. My conclusion is I should of traded in a wfb to get Whitbreads a.e. score.
halves: SJ, C. Watson
wfbs: Turbo, RTS, CNK
INT 4: Munster
EMG 5: Whitbread
Am I correct or has the system screwed me of 27 points. Note I'm not really too fussed about this but if this is how the system works then it's good to know for future trades.
Cheers.

Yeah mate Watson won't move so you'll need a WFB in ya 14-21 to replace Tommy.
If Munster was at HLF and Watson at WFB and Tommy at INT 4 you'd be right buddy

Just want to point out that Haas didn't get a TS for his tackle on CHT during GP. May as well remove this stat from fantasy given how inconsistent it is

Yeah man, I really feel for the Kiwi side. IMO they were odds on to win it when that freak deflection gave England a bonus 4 runs. Would have meant they needed 7 off 2 (instead of 3 off 2). Combine that with the fact that England win the Cup despite the match actually being a tie... it must be a pretty bitter pill to swallow.
That said, what an amazing game of cricket!! And Huge congrats to England!
On the plus side I had Sharma to be top run scorer for the comp, backed England pre tournament to win, as well as having them in a multi with the Crusaders and the Roosters....
