NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70

Stayed up watching the cricket. Having the first coffee I've had since 2017 to cope.
Have a game tonight at 9pm. Will nap when I get home from work.

The cricket:

Wow. Couldn't have been closer. So many 'what ifs'. Jimmy Neesham was incredibly composed.
Boult standing on the rope and then the freak deflection finished us off. I don't like the boundaries rule but it is what it is. Proud of the lads. Emotional. Tired. Congrats, England.

After playing this game for a few seasons now, some more successfully than others, I finally cracked a grand for the first time ever this week with 1,002. Yes, I'm blowing my own trumpet - I've been waiting a long time to blow it.

Oh, and the cricket...what a game.

Everytime they say Noah-4-loomer. 1, 3, 2, 4, 5.
I can understand misprouncing a name because of how language differs but they just choose to switch the syllables around for fun.

Its embarrassing how poor the pronunciation is! They just dont give a fuck it seems.

Talking about commentator pronounciations it was very funny when the Aussie commentators first had too pronounce Kiwi Polynesian or Maori names. The Aussies trying to say James Leuluai was very funny.

Does anyone else agree that the broncos warriors games was one of the worst NRL matches in recent history?

I've never seen two teams so determined to lose before.

Looks like Niko was neither an upgrade or downgrade, just more of the same $hit. Should have stuck with CHT

I am captaining Haas this week. With no Tolman, no Sue, Napa missing every second tackle surely will grab about 600 metres.

On Sky NZ, when it is a Fox game, we are given the option of an audio stream with no commentators. It can be a refreshing way to watch the game. Main issue with it you have to listen to the referees. The ref mics are turned up far too loud. The NRL should follow the NFL and only turn on the ref's mics when they are explaining a reason for a penalty or try - I don't want to hear them bleating at the players at every tackle.

I remember a game on Foxtel a few years back that only had the on-field audio, it was pretty sweet. Highlight was a Storm player (JBrom I think) calling Fifita a cockhead after a tackle
