Yeah I'm not sure. I'm happy for him to come off the bench but it always seems like he should be on the field earlier. Needs to come on after 25 minutes, always brings good energy when he comes on.

    6 trades, 164k

    Smith
    Haas, Fifita
    Murray, Taumalolo, Matterson
    Brooks, Watson
    Nikora, Bateman
    RTS, Ponga, Tedesco

    McInnes
    Tevaga
    Twal
    SST

    Staggs
    Coates
    Verrills
    Johnson

I can do Watson > Cook this week, but if SJ is out I will have to play Coates

    Cook
    Haas, Fifita
    Murray, Taumalolo, Matterson
    Brooks, Ponga
    Nikora, Bateman
    RTS, Coates, Tedesco

    Smith
    McInnes
    Tevaga
    Twal

    SST
    Staggs
    Verrills
    Johnson

    So in short:
I can hold trades and run with Watson + SST until Johnson is back
Or I can sell Watson and run with Cook + Coates until Johnson is back

Any advice would be much appreciated

I am in nearly the same spot and I think if SJ plays pull the trigger but if he is out it is really going to depend on where Watson plays (HKR would be nice Laughing ). Unfortunately playing Coates is probably going to cost you points so I would avoid it at all costs at this stage of the season.

Watsons BE is 41 & Cooks is 70 which are both about right if they start. The only financial danger is the potential for Cook to go massive

I'm not much help mate, but I'm the same boat, can't make any trade ideas without knowing about Watson and SJ. Cook is at an unbelievable price, he's a must have.

L4 is a close battle between 6th (me) and 11th all on 8-9 wins. I have 3 losses back to back so looking for a win against Manly40toNil (4th) this week to probably sure up a top 8 finish.

    Brown

Differential: 1.3% ownership. Practically no ownership in top 1000
Highest upside & Highest floor: averaged 57 last 5 games of last year with a HIGH of 62
Minutes building and does it in base stats
Has as good a chance of a 70+ game as any of them. Only Tevaga more explosive but minutes arguably riskier for the run in

Do you think it's worth selling Watson to a HLF Gun this week and SST > Cook next week?

I'm not sure about selling Taukeiaho and I think it's waste of a trade. I would prefer selling Watson > Cook and holding the SST trade.

If didn't want to get Fifita back, I'd really be tempted to give Brown a punt. It's really difficult to get a gauge on his minutes though since being back from injury but I reckon there's a chance he's working his way back up to 80 minutes. His 60 did include a TS and a TA and LBA which isn't normal. That's 12 points and would have ended with 48 with just the base stats.

What if Watson claims the number 6 jersey? If he's back to the bench it's a no brainer.

I dont think you can hold Watson as a first 17 player if hes at 6. Pearce and Ponga take too much of the attack. Watson becomes a 25 to 75 type player who is likely to settle around 35 average longer term (imo)

Good 18th because he can put up a big score pretty easily

    Who and why:

    Munster:
    + Potential to go massive
    + An average of 55.5
+ Has an easy run home
    - Could possibly be rested for games at some stage
    - Could possibly be rested during games

    Cleary:
    + Great base stats
    + An average of 52
    + Consistent scorer
+ Point to prove in the back half of the year
    - Unsure if Maloney will eat into his stats
    - Unsure about his ankle impediment/goalkicking handover
    - The most expensive with the lowest average

    Cherry-Evans:
+ Return of TTurbo could boost his stats
    + An average of 57
+ The cheapest of the three
    - Has lost goalkicking
    - Can put up a poor score

Watson is not a gun in the #6 jersey

The question is whether I should use a trade getting rid of Taukeiaho and bringing in a gun half or just hold
