If you exclude his injury game and the points from goal-kicking, DCE averages 55.5ParraMagic wrote:Who and why:
Munster:
+ Potential to go massive
+ An average of 55.5
+ Has an easy run home
- Could possibly be rested for games at some stage
- Could possibly be rested during games
Cleary:
+ Great base stats
+ An average of 52
+ Consistent scorer
+ Point to prove in the back half of the year
- Unsure if Maloney will eat into his stats
- Unsure about his ankle impediment/goalkicking handover
- The most expensive with the lowest average
Cherry-Evans:
+ Return of TTurbo could boost his stats
+ An average of 57
+ The cheapest of the three
- Has lost goalkicking
- Can put up a poor score
Cleary averages 51.8
If he loses GK then that average drops to 47.4
Munster averages 55.5 but like you said, has the potential to be rested.
My advice would be to go with DCE. His average is the equal highest and doesn't have the potential to be rested like Munster.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
Fully expecting Munster to be rested this weekend against the Titans and rested again against the Titans or Cowboys round 23 or 25. So even with a good draw with the Storm being so far on top there will be definite rests happening in those games. I wouldn't be selling SST either if JWH is out suspended and Tetevano out suspended as well. He goes well with JWH out and only a HIA would stop him getting decent minutes this weekend and scoring well.

"Under-fire Cronulla playmaker Shaun Johnson has fended off calls for his axing ahead of his planned return to New Zealand to face his former club for the first time on Friday night".

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
SST to Jurbo this week gives me an amazing 17. Watson 18th man will become whoever I can afford c700k as 18th man when peaked, but then it goes wrong, with Staggs/Coates/Brittain as 19-21 and one trade left. Getting in Brittain was a huge mistake... will have to remember that getting in someone who's playable cover is much miore valuable than one score and a red dot... you're going to have red dots anyway.
Anyway, this lot to stay entirely injury-free
Cook
Fifita, Hass
Jurbo, Tolo, Tevaga
SJ, DCE
Bateman, Nikora
Turbo, RTS, Tedesco
CS9, CM9, Taupau, Ponga

Shaun Johnson expected to be named this weekend so can't be too serious. Would be 50/50 to play so if doesn't would only be 1 week max.

I just had a look at the stats.
With JWH (and excluding his injury game) Taukeiaho averages 50.5
Without JWH, Taukeiaho averages 52

BBrailey to start and JRailey to come off the bench this week.
With Jrailey going to the knights next year do you think Bbrailey will hold the starting spot. Would they split it 40 mins each or a straight swap?

So can we safely assume the 35min this weekend was a one off? Surely not the new norm?
Regarding the whole SJ thing, I’m just curious why it hasn’t even rated a mention on NRL.com, even when they’re listing the Sharks’ woes. I don’t know what to think of this one. I got slam-fucked earlier this season when Friend was a late out, in a week I’d captained him. But apparently some people already knew he was in doubt. Obviously no concerns about captaining or VC Johnson, but it’d be nice to get info if it’s out there. Having not heard anything official I’d assume the best, but the rumours make me nervous.

Ok maybe not much better with the stats but if JWH is out and with Tetevano out I will back him to bounce back and score well this weekend against the Knights with a 53+ score playing 50-60 minutes.

He had another knock to the head so got less minutes.

Can't go wrong really with Cleary or DCE for the run home. Arey is up there with them and scores well on Fantasy with all those kick metres but probably be injured again on the run home at some point being made of glass. Depends if want to take the injury risk with Arey. Munster will be missing 2 games rested on the run home so doubt be worth it unfortunately otherwise i'd be all over him with Storms draw. Is just a shame Storm is so far ahead as Munster would of destroyed those teams he will be rested in.

Brooks is a real pain in the ass. Hasn't shown me anything since I brought him in.
Can afford a straight swap to Twal but not sure if worth one of my last 3 trades

I'm not sure about selling Taukeiaho and I think it's waste of a trade. I would prefer selling Watson > Cook and holding the SST trade.
Ideally both SJ and Ponga play. It's a calculated risk not having cover you would be happy to play for wfb on the run home. I made a begrudging tactical trade last week to get burns in for Xerri so I would never have to play Pearson again (then turbo got rested and he got to fuck me over with his 3 points anyway!). I think getting Cook in for Watson is a priority for you. it sounds at this stage that SJ might be short term which means maybe risk playing Coates for a week and trade SsT for someone like Brown in a couple of weeks. I usually burn off my 'injury' trades at a rate of 1 every two weeks if they are not needed for actual injuries on the run home

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 part 70
Out of DCE and Cleary i'd probably take Cleary as Panthers have the better draw on the run home. He'll go well this weekend after freshening up having a break but especially go well against the Bulldogs and Cowboys round 20 and 23. As long as Cleary is kicking I put him ahead of DCE. Manly run home is a bit tougher and really want DCE kicking goals but that won't happen as Garrick got that locked in. DCE will still score well but thinking Cleary scores more overall for the run home. DCE will have some weeks of good scores but can have some poor scores in him as well. Cleary will be more consistent.

When does Clearly go big. Like 80+
Pussys for closers and Cleary unfortunately is a 50-60 pt player.
Dce is the dominant half and will score like moses maybe even better with TTrbo gifting him points
