Skills gets you to the top 500, luck is needed to get any higher than that. One bad captain choice can be the difference between 200 and 500

If I had 3 trades left I wouldn’t be using any of them. Those niggling injuries that normally see a player miss a couple of weeks could easily turn into season Enders if they are out of contention. I’ve seen a few teams around with no trades but enough to cover one player in each positions. That is all good until you lose 2wfbs with 5 weeks to go and end up running 16

Probably not. Maybe if it moves Burns or Nikora as a 18th/19th man though, but 1 trade for 8 rounds is scary.

Michael Gordon back at fb this week. AJ Brimson into the halves.

I'm thinking of going Xerri to Naden and then gives me enough funds for Mahoney to Fifita. Naden looking good and a quality backup. I'm not sure if I can risk another crap cashout that won't play.

Well I can go 1 trade for my final gun Munster for the run home or I can go 2 trades for the run home and pick my final gun from the best option 675k and under.

I have this strange thing though where my final gun team has to consist of as many players I actually like as possible. Slim pickings there on both fronts.

Looks like this year I've finally managed to get to the top 500 skill level... it's only taken me about 5 years to get there

I've never finished top 100 either. Not far behind on 121st but you have more trades so I'll fade away if too many injuries occur but I'd love a top 100 finish.

This is my 3rd year playing fantasy and 2nd year with NRLFF. I was sitting in the top 500 for a while but now am sitting just outside it. I am hoping my bunch can get me some ground, with a few POD captain choices like Haas this week.

I’m right behind you guys in the rankings at 123. I started fantasy 2 years ago with the goal of top 1000 at the start of this year so pretty stoked

Just realised I'm 5th in the Cowboys league. A couple of hundred points behind 1st, you never know, that guy could be out of trades already.

Good on you mate. Highest I've finished is like 502 I think. This is my fourth serious year and finished 502, 522 and like 720. Can't seem to crack the elite level. Sitting at 1300 now so that ain't changing this year.

Well done to those killing it in their first or second year.

I finished Top 50 in 2017. Took 2018 off. Currently 277th.

Getting used to the new system and captaining Fifita for that 22 score, I suppose I'm doing alright considering.

Just behind you lot at 3354. Takes a special skill to be this bad!!
