1062 this week moves me up 324 spots and gives me a shit rank of 3440.

Yeah I guess 393 isn't that bad but I expect better of myself I suppose.

I believe it is a merchandise pack. But as much as I want that merchandise, I really want the bragging rights more. My best mate won the Rabbitohs League one year and I’ve never heard the end of it. Your son needs to be taken down! bounce

What do you guys think of selling Wighton to Klemmer or JFH to cover Fifita? Wighton hasn't been amazing recently and I have no FRF cover (pretty sure JFH will get dual position this week).

If I did this, the plan would be to sell Wighton now, then when Fainu and Tevaga lose their spots in R21 (when Koro and Tohu return), I would sell one to Moses and the other to either Turbo or RTS, depending on how much spare cash I have.

If I don't sell Wighton to cover FRF, then I would sell Fifita and not buy him back since I only have 3 trades left and burning 2 on Fifi seems irresponsible.

EDIT: just came up with 3 more potential options

    * Sell Tevaga early to Klem or JFH, saves me a trade and gives me much-needed FRF cover (or 2RF if I get JFH)

    * Sell Fainu early to a POD like Papalii, Twal, or AFB, since selling Fainu leaves me 4k short of Klem and 14k short of JFH

    * Hold trades and cop 16 players, I would only do this if Fifi is only out one week, and even then it'd be a risky play (I would effectively be gambling that I can make up the ground I lose at the end once everyone's out of trades.

My original plan was to hold until R21 then sell both Fainu and Tevaga on to a FRF and WFB gun with 1 trade left for later, but Fifi's suspension forces me to either act or cop 16.

    1108 means a move from 548 to 416

Still 6 rounds to go ladies and gentlemen, much too early to be burning final trades on marginal upgrades.

If I had Fifita I would be holding for a 1 week suspension and trading for a 2 week suspension

Doing things like Taupau>Jturbo will gain maybe 30 points over the rest of the year. That’s one correct captaincy choice and not worth it IMO

When the injuries come(and they will) being able to trade sideways to a gun and pick up 50-60 points will be a huge advantage

Yeah man, 100% agree from me. Even if Fifi is gone 2 weeks, I think I'll hold him and do my below trade to cover for the 2 weeks.

At this point my plan is to sell Fainu to J Papalii since Fainu is on a limited timeframe anyway and it gives me a genuine POD and dual FRF/2RF which is huge for my team depth, while giving me almost as much upside but for the rest of the year instead of until R21 when Api returns. Leaves me 2 trades left though I will likely need one to sell Tevaga if Tohu's return cuts into his mins, but I can wait and see what happens. I'm 4k short of going Fainu to Klem and 14k short of JFH, and Papalii is probably the best one of the rest that's dual position (which I really want since I have limited trades and need to be able to cover one week injuries).

My team after this trade will be:

    Cook
    Haas, Papalii
    Lolo, Jurbo, Murray
    SJ, Munster
    Latrell, Bateman
    Teddy, Ponga, Wighton

    CS9, McInnes, Tevaga, Burns

    To'o, DBrown, Fifita, Walters

With this lineup, I can cover a one week injury in FRF and CTR, multiple one week injuries in 2RF, WFB and HLF, while still having 3 gun hookers in the 17 at all times.

I personally think Taupau and Twal are both better DPP options for FRF/2RF, although Papalii has previously shown he has some big scores in him

Fair enough. I can't afford Taupau if I sell Fainu, and I think Papalii is just as good as Twal and has better upside, and plays for a much better team. He's also cheaper, which is good since I'll need cash to upgrade Tevaga to a genuine gun in R21. Considering that this is my 3rd FRF/4th 2RF, I don't have to play him every week if I don't want to, which means I'd rather a guy with bigger upside rather than the meat and potatoes of a Twal type

Is it worth selling Fifita for the rest of the year? Can’t see him busting out another big score with both braden uele and woods hanging around

Fifita is dumb but selling him over a one-week suspension is also dumb; there is no net positive on braincells for your team and thus it's a sideways trade

If you thought he was worth a trade in with Uele and Woods hanging around why would he suddenly be a trade out?

I’ve had him from the beginning, haven’t traded him out even through his suspension. Just wondering if there are reduced minutes coming his way due to woods returning

Fifita is literally one of those players who can get you 10 points in 2 minutes. Worth keeping.

Agree with everyone. Fifita avgs just under 55 including two 11s. One for physical injury and one for mental impairment.

Even if his minutes drop and he’s a 50 avg player, no FRF other than Haas is going to significantly outscore him.

I can see the argument for not bringing him in, but I don’t think he’s a sell.

If he accepts the ban, there is no hearing and he will miss a week. Still haven't heard if he's challenging or not.

I still remember the first time I ever captained Fifita, a few years ago. With 10 minutes left he was on 28, or some disappointingly low captain score. Finished on about 60, on the back of 2 runs with a bunch of TBs in them
