I disagree. Since there are no team lists, you need to do more research on team formations and coaches mindset. There are quirks like Wildcard and one off bench boosters.

Totally true...but most of the work is done prior to picking your initial team and in the first few weeks after (once the teams settle down). Re: workload, I meant more on a week by week basis. They also have some pretty handy videos/analysis on the site these days which can help new players out.

yeah but since the most good teams play mid week games outside the premier league, you have to be on top of injuries and work loads. More importantly player value can increase or decrease depending upon on what players are doing. Then you have to worry about when is the ideal time to do the Wildcards, and also when does the fixture schedule eases or hardens. Towards the back eend of the season you need to get the team ready for Double game weeks and blank game weeks. I think NRL Fantasy is somewhat more user friendly and you can keep things in control than FPL.

Don’t have a lot of non-hooker forward depth, with Fifita out trying to position DPPs in the most useful way.
Currently have Taupau at FRF, SST at 2R, and Bateman on bench. Also have Nikora listed at CTR.
I think given the timing of games it makes the most sense organising Taupau/SST and Bateman/Nikora like this, but would appreciate a second look.

Basically Dugan and Morris were upset they were being played outside of preferred position due to John Morris wanting Xerri/Graham/Townsend left edge being the go to. They don’t like the reshuffle between centre and wing(even with morris scoring 3 tries)
After this the players had an ‘honesty’ session where this was all brought up and the players were told they would get a shot at their preferred positions(due to Moylan injury they can reshuffle)
