Quick look at CNK's scores over the season and even though there are only two data points for the teams he's played twice, an argument could be made that he scores similar against the teams he's faced twice.

Could mean that if he scores well/poorly against the Warriors, he could well score the same when they play them again in a few weeks.

Cowboys - 30, 26 - 4 points spread averaging 28
Eels - 43, 59 - 16 points spread averaging 51
Panthers - 41, 38 - 3 points spread averaging 39.5
Tigers - 22, 38 - 16 points spread averaging 30

It's crap weather in Auckland today they are forecasting gale force winds later on with rain so the attention to the basics will determine who wins tonight re the Warriors v Raiders.

I wouldn't worry too much I think the Warriors played a home game previously with worse weather & RTS scored well. In fact the game was played with a pretty low error rate if I remember correctly.

Captain Lolo after getting sidetracked pregame.... meant to switch it to Turbo. Shows the tightness between spots 2950 and 2100, as Capt Yolo and Twal and Brooks took me from around there to 2104.

I'm poopholing Xerri v CNK so I'm hoping CNK smashes it because I'm not too optimistic on Xerri going large.

I can't ever see Surgess getting back to gun level because he's past it. He'll be like Gallen putting up the occasional big score but mostly he'll score at mid ranger level.

Surgess might transition back to the middle with Su'A and Lowe coming along pretty well

Depending how cheap Surgess is he'll be good as an 18-21 emg but I suspect he'll be too expensive to be an emergency. Imo that year he played rugby ruined him as a player he came back to the nrl behind the 8 ball.

Without getting into a big circle jerk about how great we all are, we do have a fantastic community here and I for one appreciate it.

I've captained Tommy Turbo this week, a day game at Brooky was too hard to resist & Brooky is where Turbo goes large & I also like the combo Fainu & Turbo have developed & Turbo has realised all I have to do is follow Fainu when he takes off from dummy half, Fainu will either make a lb & Turbo will back up or Fainu will get tackled & he has such a quick play the ball Turbo takes off from dummy half. I did consider Cook but I don't like his handbrakes, I did consider Tedesco but with half the pack out I felt he will still score 50ish but won't go large because the pack may struggle to gain dominance to unleash their excellent attacking assets, I did consider Taumalolo but I would only captain him if 1 of McLean or McGuire were out because when both play they steal Lolo's hit ups, I did consider Haas & C. Smith & couldn't think of any negatives not to pick them as captain but thought I feel like going for a left field pick as captain this week & Turbo was it.

I've captained Haas and am a bit shocked to discover the highest PPG player for the season is a POD captain choice. Just had a look at the top 50, and there is 1 person on Haas. More have Turbo and Farah. I'm hoping he goes huge and I can climb the ranks with the most uncalculated non-risk ever.

Only reason most steered away from Haas is the Storm and their tendency to flog us at Suncorp. Can't score points while waiting for CS9 to kick conversions.

And from memory the forecast for the last game was also very poor, come game time the conditions wern't actually too bad. The game some weeks before that the weather was bad and RTS had one of his worst scores.

Seems like everytime I look at the weather in auckland it's terrible?!
