Anyone going for most valuable team prize?

This is the current best 21

    Smith
    Haas Lodge
    Taumalolo Murray JFH
    Moses DCE
    Bateman Hopoate
    Tedesco Milford TTrbo

    McInnes
    Cook
    Ponga
    Tevaga
    JTrbo
    Taupau
    RTS
    Friend
    Mau'u/Klemmer

Manu Ma'u and Klemmer are both $698k. Get that 21 together and you've got $16,600,000 worth of talent together.
Doubt anyone would have a 21 that strong, but any WAGS teams out there going for the $$ prize, that is your target

Josh Hodgson, Shaun Johnson, Robbie Farah, Nathan Brown are the players most likely to crack into that 21

Also reminder that cash in bank doesn't count towards team value, so trade away that bank balance if you want the prize.

Probably will be using my last trade on Matterson I think this week with max price being 701k it might end up being sideways move, but looking at Matterson to Ma'u or Klemmer (or Arrow if named)

Ma'u playing 80 mins and hasn't scored below 50 since R13, seems a no-brainer when Matterson is playing 60 mins at lock and has relatively low tackle counts for a middle forward because he doesn't flop on tackles which is showing because he's only got above 50 once since R15 with a 30 point try on edge

I had a look a couple of weeks ago. The top value team was right on 15 mil, then there were are few at 14.7.

Don't know if its changed much since.

So what happened to the Knights on the weekend? I didn't see the game. The team was supposed to have gotten a kick up the ass with 4 players dropped, but the scoreline suggests things only got worse.

Will they make more changes this week? Fantasy aside, did Watson play well? Does Levi find his way back into the 17 again this week? How about Lino? Does Brown just shuffle the cards  again like he's been doing for the last 2 years? Can we expect to see a "lost the dressing room" article this week?

Is Verrils still worth a trade if I have 3 left for someone like Lomax? Seems playable too.

He looks like he’s going be a 45-50 player, like say Mahoney. I think he’s playable if you can work it.

I think I need to tradeout Fainu this week. Not loving the options available with my bank.

    Fonua-Blake
    Papalii
    Hunt
    K-Brom
    Farah
    Mitchell

If Liddle is not named again I think I’m going to risk getting burnt twice by Robbie.

Otherwise Mitchell averages 51 excluding 5/8 starts. But then I’d be carrying both Nikora and Burns as 18-19th.

Not too excited by the rest.

Is Radley a cheap option for those that need one? Back at lock, scoring seems to have improved.. Maybe too reliant on being boosted by attacking stats.

Yeah, my 17th and 18th men are 2 of Xerri, Burns and CNK so a solid hooker option could be a goer.

I think he’s ideal for that situation. Roosters generally play late in the round so you can look at a more volatile scorer like CNK or Xerri and if they’re sub-40 you’d be pretty safe rolling with Verrills

If no Liddle mate, perhaps Madge is letting Robbie play out his last few games. I'd take the punt on him. Mitchell is the other one I like.

Yeah, if no carnage pops up, I might do it. Looks like Friend won't be back til play offs so it's an ideal situation and I bank 75K too.

As a Manly supporter i was worried about the boys backing up from the storm game and thinking the knights would be fired up. But the knights brought nothing. Ponga struggled apart from one big play. I thought Watson looked good but who knows where he will play each week

Just depends when is a good week to run out of trades. Top teams are so similar so finding a good pod might be your only chance to catch some of the teams a head of you.

I think now is alright time to run out of trades if you have cover. Gives you 5 rounds of the player you're bringing in

Not too bothered on exact number of overall except for fact of trying to finish top of storm league. I'll probably fall short of top 5 overall but am 300 points clear of 2nd in Storm league who I think has run out of trades because he had SST who he didn't remove + Pearce + Hughes (though a couple of the fanatics are flying up the storm rankings)

How much cover is good though to run with no trades? You'd need a solid 19th man aswell one would think.

I am in a similar situation where I am trying to win the Rabbitohs league (Rhinoceroo's son's team actually got away from me again this week and now I am 50 points shy of his lead) but our teams are so similar it makes it hard to fathom where I could make up ground short of playing captain roulette.
I have three trades, but I was considering burning two on bringing in both a HLF/WFB red dot and Connor Watson as an 18th man (also have Liam Martin as 19th man) so that i can loop SJ/RTS/Moses etc for the rest of the season. Weeding out the odd poor WFB/HLF score when we all own the same players seems a logical way to try and close the gap, but running with just 1 trade for 4 rounds is scary as hell. Am I mad to be burning 2 or my 3 trades on this zany scheme?

Also, Rhinoceroo if you are reading this IGNORE ALL OF MY SECRET PLANS
nothing to see here, move along.
