Both are big game players and you’ll see Souths at their best this week. It won’t be an upset either. 10 games in a row earlier in the year, Origin done, a much needed soft loss last week and almost a full strength team says this win will be expected. Not a surprise. Only gumbies think otherwise. They’ll be competition favourites after this week.
Avoid Farah. Liddle will be back. If the Tigers lose this week, you watch the old fell feign an injury soon. Has nothing to play for if they aren’t making the finals and I don’t think they will.
Johnson will dog it too soon, last week was their grand final. Cleary and Reynolds are the halves I’d want to be on from here. The young Panther will run riot without Maloney and then Cleary can let him loose for the rest of the year. He’s too good to play 2nd fiddle.

TBF Cook was in reserve grade for years as well.
Maybe to truly be Cook 2.0 you have to be rejected until your mid 20s like Cook 1.0...

Milch called him poor man’s Jake Granville. Spot on I thought, but he still wouldn’t lace Granville’s boots. Maybe one day. Granville a premiership winning hooker and hugely underrated by communities like this because of fantasy scores

Kind of what i love and hate about footy.
Cook was still a nobody until a breakout season in 2018.
The next Cook is still being written off in reserve grade

Seriously tho, I’m currently holding but still extremely tempted to get Farah for Fainu as the last trade.
Lone Scout plucked the number “85% chance” he’s an 80min hooker the rest of the year in his q&a, which would do me. I’m a bit more pessimistic - think one big loss or moving out of finals contention would be enough to see Cook 2.0 back on the bench.

With Haas being the top dog in the FRF position, who would be the best to pair with him? Looks like Klemmer has the most favourable run home but JFH looks the goods too. Fifi and Taupau look to be restricted by minutes.
