He doesn't bend his back until the ball is played. This slows everything and means he needs to rush the pass if he wants to distribute quicker. Mostly its just slow or he makes a rushed error.

Watch Cook he's moving down in anticipation of the foot playing the ball. Gives him just that extra time against the defensive line. Plus he moves quicker, especially on sand, if required.
