BTW, Union are next season experimenting with a rule where you can't tackle above the waist. Moving further and further from being a contact sport.

8/535, got 9 guys playing tomorrow (Papalii, Wighton, Bateman, Latrell, Teddy, Munster, CS9, Murray, Cook), so it remains to be seen how I'll go. Captaining McInnes was massive though.

    Is that right?
Yep. Was originally looping Cleary with Walters, Matto was my option. Walters being brought in to the squad stuffed that, but Burns being out gave me the option again.
Would be very happy for a late withdrawal of Smith, Cook, or Murray.
Murray could do with a rest.

If Andrew Fifita is out for the season, would it be dumb to buy David Fifita as a POD? I likely wouldn't be able to afford Klemmer, and I love DFifi's matchups. He gets so many TBs and the odd try that I think he's a genuine option. Only risk then would be not having FRF cover but I would hold my last trade for that eventuality

I think they said Fifita will be ok for next week.

I’m still concerned though as his last 5 games he’s averaging 43.8 whereas Klemmer is averaging 57 and Ma’u 61. If I get Ma’u it means I just have Taupau and Haas as my only front rowers.

I have 4 trades left, would you recommend I trade Fifita out next week and who for out of Klemmer or Ma’u? Or will Andrew Fifita come good again? I’d appreciate your advice.

As for yourself not a bad option David Fifita but he’s quite up and down I feel. If you think he can keep getting these busts and breaks go for it.

With 4 trades left I'd certainly sell him. I only have 2 left so it's a bit dangerous for me. Get Klem if you need an FRF, Ma'u if you need a safe 2RF, or go pod chasing if you want some upside.

With David Fifita, even in games that they don't win, he just needs some tackle breaks. Considering his matchups (Panthers next week running at Kiks and Memeloney, then Souths running at Sutton and Calker, then Eels running at Lane and DBrown, then Dogs running at CHN and Holland), I reckon he can keep the TBs up and jag a pie or two. Averages 52.3 in games where he's played 80 mins and is only 600k. Considering that I've got good squad depth, he'd likely be in the loop position most weeks, so him being up and down is tolerable if he has the upside.

Not the best but not total shit, I’m 10/500 have Captain Cook to come, Murray, Reynolds, Smith, Bateman, Teddy and Verrills, I could’ve taken RTS’ 33, but I’m playing Verrills, used Lomax as a loop.

If you do get David Fifita does that mean you only have 2 front rowers in your squad?

For myself I think Ma’u is a POD but then I only have 2 front rowers Haas and Taupu plus Boyle in my emergencies.

Yep, but I'd hold my last trade back in case Haas or Papalii go down

With Burns it’s that hammy again, they’ll be conservative given his history.

I’d say he will be out 3-4 weeks.

I may take the risk you’re taking and just have my 2 front rowers and save my last 2 trades for that.

I’m gonna have to cash out Lomax next week and probs upgrade Fifita at this stage.

Does anyone think Ponga will be suspended? If he’s gonna be out a week or two stuff it he will go and I’ll bring Moses in.

Heard there was a high tackle or late shot from him but didn’t see it.
