Although I've been gradually slipping down the rankings with only 1 trade left the plus with my team is owning JFH & Whitbread due to the dpp changes they made a couple of weeks ago. Both became dpp frf/2fr so it's helped with depth.

Is it really at that stage now where people are expecting their captain to score 80s and 90s? Lol. Remember when 50 was a good score? Jesus.

But surely you aren't planning on trading Crichton in in order for him to be a regular scoring member of your team? Or is the question for other reasons
Nah, just broke with little depth like many othet, prob better of l looping

Obviously Taumalolo has been carrying his foot injury for a couple of weeks as evidenced by the drop in his scores but I'm keeping because he'll have a rest, get treatment on it & come back refreshed & fit & then he'll go boom.

well I'm expecting 75+ from Moses, since I'm trying to gain ranks at the top. Even the top 20-30 is within reach (only 238 points behind 20th, 187 behind 30th) if Moses goes big for me and Papalii/Wighton/Latrell all fire up again like they did last week.

Yeah we've been unlucky, but the players we do have, haven't been good enough. Manly were winning games at the start of the year with half of their team out.

We got a taste of high captain scores with all the 1000+ team scores so we are just being greedy now. I'm being greedy this week myself because I'm captaining Tedesco & expect 100 points against the Warriors. The Warriors never put 2 clinical games together, hell they struggle to even put in 1 clinical team effort so after beating Manly last week they will just fall apart this week & revert to the norm & Tedesco will go boom.

I'd be really dubious of trading Lolo out too, unless we get proper news of a long term injury.
I'd be keeping him, even if I had a trade to theoretically spend.
There's only 4 weeks left though, and both Tolo and Fifita will only play a max of 3 games.

Fuck man, I'm gonna be kicking myself one way or another this week. If I keep the C on Moses, he'll get a 50 and Teddy will get 100, but if I move the C to Teddy, then Moses will get 90 and Teddy will get 40

I finished 115th last year and was made commissioner of L1 (strange decision haha), so yes I am finding 3500th pretty strange after thinking I had broken into an elite category.
That's why I like fantasy to be honest, the fact ur best efforts can sit you top ten or top 10k, i think the nature of the game means it will be like this always.

No one talking about McInnes as captain again I see... Sharks with no Fifita and probably Prior, another 80 coming.

Walters > Liddle as last trade.
EMG looks good: Lolo, Fifita, SST to all be back next week

100% agree. For me, it's been pure dumb luck that I'm up where I am (81 overall), considering before this year, I'd never been in the top 400, whereas this season, I haven't left the top 400 since before magic round.
If I'd just gone the other way on a few 50/50 trades, I'd be ranked probably thousands of spots lower (if I'd got Gutho instead of Wighton in R6, if I'd held TKO instead of getting Tevaga etc.). That said, the season isn't over and I'm worried my luck with PODs and captaincy picks will run out soon (I've nailed my captain picks the last 2 weeks in a row with Teddy and McInnes)

Think Ponga could be a sneaky POD captain. Cowboys no McGuire, no Tolo, Hess in the centres, Cotter spelling Granville, McLean only coming back from injury. Knights at home and finals on the line, Ponga against his old club could go pretty big.

Love that POD pick, but I won't be doing it because Moses is against the Titans and kicks goals, and if I didn't pick him, it'd be Teddy vs Warriors

I am still very tempted by Moses(c), but Cook should also go well against the Dogs (esp with Surgess back to (hopefully) provide some quick PTB's)

If I had Moses he'd be my captain this week. He'll get 3 try assists even though one of them he won't deserve like last week
