I honestly think Haas is the only one of those that will be must-have at the start of next year, Bateman too if he still has CTR DPP (he won't).

I don't know if Haas would be must have to start the season. He'll be expensive having not had a single poor score to help us out. And except for last night, he scores pretty consistently so his price wouldn't become out of reach if you started without him. Could be a tradein target for a peaked cow/middie. But certainly can't go wrong if you started him.

to add to m.s's list, Stimson and Tohu spring to mind as blokes that will most likely find a spot in my first draft.

I guess he isn't much different to Cook at the start of this year where he was extremely expensive and predictably regressed a little. My thinking is that nobody else comes close to him at FRF and the fact he is a pretty damned safe captain choice early next year that he is the gun to splurge on. There will be plenty of value at HOK, HLF and 2RF next year but outside of Fifita (who I think will be the most common pairing with him to start next year) it doesn't look like there is gonna a lot of tasty value at FRF next year at this stage.

Maybe I'm just biased after last night though

charges are out, Turpins looking at 2-3 weeks and Pangai 4-5, what a fucking joke!

quick reminder that Kyle fucking Flanagan got a grade 1 charge for forcefully and deliberately throwing a knee into someone's head, but Pangai and Turpin get grade 2's for tackles gone wrong, the MRC is fucking cooked and should be cleaned right the fuck out, they haven't got the slightest fucking clue.

To be fair TPJ had 60% loading for 3 non similar incidents, if he had no loading and did early plea it would be 2 weeks but with loading it is 3 with early plea

i have no problems with the loading it's the charge that baffles me, it was accidental contact that doesn't result in injury or HIA and he had time served for the sin-bin, all factors that are supposed to reduce the charge and they landed on Grade 2? get the fuck out of here, if he gets whatever he gets from a Grade 1 then fair enough.

4-5 weeks for that 'crusher' on Maloney lol I am fucking done. Absolute rort. They just enjoy picking on TPJ it's pathetic. Giving that a grade 2 is a fucking joke.

Hope we fight it, I don't care how many extra weeks he can get for losing, fight it out of protest.

at the very least i'd fight downgrades for both of them, if they end up on grade 1 then fair enough, especially Turpin's, just last week Surgess got a downgrade from grade 2 to grade 1 because Moylan cleared a HIA, Edwards wasn't even asked to leave the fucking field.

Imagine if TPJ kneed Maloney in the head on purpose, he'd be suspended for the entire 2020 season. Brooks meanwhile only loses some money out of his pocket.

the match review committee is just drumming up business for their salt company. “Broncos extra salty salt” the supporters love it.

Watson probably doesn't play 80 now either with Mann on the bench.

3/269 for me with Moses C, not too bad, since even if I had not captained Moses, I would never have captained Haas (it would have been Teddy)
