Fuck the NRL and their judiciary system, absolute fucking joke of the highest order. Blokes can go out onto the field and knee players in the head on purpose but not do what TPJ did. Farce.

I haven't been this mad all season. Jurbo can throw someone on their head and get away with it, Brooks can knee someone in the head and get away with it but of course TPJ cops 5 weeks for his tackle.
If Smith did what TPJ did he would have got off scot free.

Been getting TBs, nearly scored last week as well
Probably not sustainable to keep getting TBs, but Bulldogs are improving in form and he plays long mins

wish i could claim some sort of shock, the Sydney-based cunts at the MRC has always given us a raw deal, the real shock was that one single time they ruled in our favour and let Hodgo play his last game.

probably, why develop your own kids when you can just wait for the Broncos to do it for you?

Assuming both end up playing in addition to Lolo playing, which one would you guys play out of Fifita and Tevaga? Fifi off the bench but Tevaga has a fucked ankle.

Currently got Tevaga playing and Fifita NPR, but will prob swap that around if Fifita starts.
Other team I have Martin, Tevaga, SST for one spot (if Lolo plays, for two if he doesn't) and can't loop. Tevaga probably... though SST will probably start given the Roosters make so many late changes...

I saw that TPJ tackle & there was nothing in it & to be suspended for 5 games is the most rancid piece of decision making I have seen for a while. It's just as bad as years ago when the Aussies were playing the Kiwis in tests & the judiciary use to suspend Kiwi players & let the Aussie players off & not suspend them & this went on for years.

So which player benefits from the TPJ suspension. I suppose no one because Gillett just replaces TPJ,

That's his role in the team though. Every team has 1 player in their pack whose role is to intimidate, search & destroy.

Fairly simple though, don’t hit late, don’t hit high.

Any team that doesn't have that player will struggle to compete. You need someone that can make playmakers scared to take the ball to the line by hitting them hard(legally).
When it goes wrong these guys get hit with charges, due to frequent occurrence they have a bunch of loading so can miss bulk time for a tackle that doesn't look so bad(JWH, Surgess, TPJ, McGuire)

TPJ does some DUMB stuff, I know that, and he has deserved a lot of the suspensions he has had.
Was it really that much of a dog shot? Obviously I'm a Broncos fan, but I'm trying to remove bias and see it objectively.
To me it appeared to be a bit of an accident. Yes, he came in to put Maloney on his ass, but I don't think he expected Maloney to turn back into him the way that he did, and at that point he was well past committing to falling on him. Is he supposed to let him get up and start running again before tackling him?
100%, it was dumb by Pangai. Grade 2? Crazy. When NAS does a deliberate crusher tackle (holds him up and then drops on his neck) the week before with not even a charge. Come onnnn
