You're having a blinder mate. In fact you're going so well that you're not even too far behind ol' filthy! Wink

Congrats on the mods win. I can only assume you won because I was away fishing for a couple of weeks.

He didn’t look to good with that ankle, so I wonder with Isaac back will Jazz play, plus if so how many mins will he last?

I think most likely is Luke 9 Burr 13 Tevaga 14. He’s crocked, they can’t keep playing him 60-80

Jazz make to the bench would make sense. He's fucked and offering nothing. Might as well put a bigger in there starting to provide some size at least.

Think it's best he takes the final 3 rounds off so he doesn't do further damage to that ankle Laughing

This just keeps getting better. Their season is officially over, we need to look at player welfare. Very Happy

Seeing all this shit about Storm wrestling tactics and Smith grabbing Simmonson's ear during a tackle. Like are we all serious right now? I can take every game, every week and pick out at least 5 moments in the game that should have been called a penalty or should have been brought up but aren't. It is just ridiculous. Not sure what the media are trying to get out of it anyways? Clickbait? Numbers on their sites? Every club/team does this I just don't get the personal attack on the Storm. If it was that bad the refs and NRL bosses would be rousing on them for it but they are not. If it is wrong then why is no one saying anything to them? I am a hard NRL and AFL fan and love the banter and shit talk that comes with it but it really ticks me off that all aspects of the media get behind this shit 100 times more because it is the Storm. Brooks knee to the head....nothing. Milford trying to trip Cleary I think it was.... nothing. I fully understand if Storm were purposefully deploying illegal tactics but according to the NRL they are not. Just let the refs, ref the game. They are not perfect, they aren't going to pick up every little things like Joe Bloe at home on his custom made leather couch will after he slows it down to 1/10th of a frame per millisecond 2 days after the game while hoeing into a bag of chicken twisties! You see every week a debutant/rookie might get hit hard in a tackle and someone gives him a little extra welcome to the NRL, without a doubt. Rant

I think it's because the Storm have introduced a style that has ruined rugby league in many ways and because they're so good at it and successful they're targeted by the media. Fans absolutely hate the way they play the game if you're a neutral. There's no doubt that Smith has got away with this cleanskin image for years when he's been one of the biggest grubs around. I just think fan opinion is so loud the media report on it because it'll create more clicks.

Check out Finchy roasting Hooper on the Big League Wrap on fox league youtube channel. It's hilarious as Hooper malfunctions and can't speak when someone says his opinion isn't the be all and end all

They won't take the 13 off Tevaga. This is the Warriors and Kearney. Takes them 12 months to learn a lesson. They've pushed him to breaking point each week and they'll keep doing so.

That was a "omg I love Finchy!" moment. Hooper didn't know how to react. It was brilliant.

They win the wrestle? If the defending team win the ruck or the attacking players surrenders in or at the line they are allowed to work/bear hug the player and spin around on the player to get set at marker as the tackle is now they're advantage. If the attacking player wins the ruck the defending team must complete the tackle right away and retire the 10 metre line or set up at marker, without working or spinning on the players.

I saw a tweet which said that Storm aren't even the worst in the comp this season for "slowing the play the ball down", according to the stats. Which says alot.

Earlier today the Sydney Roosters announced the re-signing of veteran Mitchell Aubusson on a one-year extension.
Aubusson has played 284 NRL games for the tri-colours to date. He is on track to surpass Anthony Minichello (301) as the Roosters most capped player.

      Current date/time is Tue Nov 19, 2024 9:41 am
