He just became Ponga for me. Why risk your superstar when there is no chance of making the finals? Even if he plays, he won’t be interested.

I have to agree. Green should rest him and put the rest of his shitty forwards on notice and see who wants a spot in the 17 next year.

Lolo will probably represent his country in the off season so why would Green rest him now when he could just as easily hurt himself playing for MMT?

As with any injury it depends if it's serious or not... sounds like Rabbits and Filth had serious Plantar Fascitis... I had minor PF, and while it fucking hurt, walking didn't make it worse and not walking didn't make it better and actually running around playing sport was less painful than eg. walking up stairs. And after a few weeks it stopped hurting.

As said, this was a minor version, so I suppose it depends whether JT's is closer to that or the Rabbits' one.

On injuries I had a major/funny scare when I was younger. I broke my foot at the skate park when I was about 13. Doctor said I was about a hairline away from fully cracking the growth plate in my left foot and if I had done so my foot would've stayed the same size for the rest of my life.... imagine having two different sized feet Lol

I tore my Plantar fascia about three years ago and couldn't run and cut properly on it for about 6 months. Then played a game of TRL and while running backwards to get back onside, it tore again. I partly blame the footy boots as they have fuck all support. Now it's back to 100% though.

The giveaway is that he would've referred to the teams as the choccie soldiers, the hopeless Tigers and the mighty Rabbitohs. He would've also mentioned how the Rabbits will flog whoever they're playing next by 20 or 30 depending on which way the wind is blowing at the time.:-P

Which sport do you play where you use the term cut? Usually US sports. It's a term used in ultimate.

After last weeks somewhat disappointing Captain choice in Moses I’m leaning towards playing it safe with Haas. Are most people thinking likewise?

Since concussions in league is right at the forefront these days in NZ they released the statistics & it's more dangerous bike riding & skate boarding because these 2 activities result in more concussions/head injuries than rugby & league.

    I'm going Cook

If I was one to gamble on captains I would be seriously looking at Moses vs Dogs and Munster vs Titans

Two top captain choices for the forum team last week were Haas with 9 votes and Cook with 8. No one else came close.

This week Haas has 13 votes and Cook has 3.

The Souths pack is weakened so Haas is going to have a field day is what I am thinking.

Total reported incidents or per capita? Seen a number of facials at the skatepark and have had one myself. Still got the scar. You're going at speed and head first into hard surfaces.

If Haas scored 70 and Cook scored 100 those numbers would be opposite. People are generally very reactionary to recent scores

That was a very interesting read. 3177 kids in the study from both Australia and NZ. Only thing is that it relates to injuries presented at hospital EDs, and of the sports-related ones 80% were boys

I of my neighbours years ago had a motor bike accident (not his fault) & although he came away sweet physically he still hit his head on the road but he was wearing a helmet. By after the accident he began to go all weird & he wasn't right in the head. He wasn't doing anything violent but he would do things like banning salt in the house because his Maori ancestors said it was poison apparently. Also his wife couldn't wear any skirt above her knees. Apart from the odd house rules he was a good fella.
