Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 80
Plantar Fasciitis injuries are horrendous. I’ve had it before and it took nearly a year to feel half decent again. Could hardly walk for 3 months. It affected the calf and hammy of the same leg. It still plays up now, 20 years later. If he plays, he’ll be gone before half time if that really is his injury. Cortisone injections are the only thing to settle them, but they themselves are fucking woefully painful. Worse than any needle you’ll ever get. Like a horse needle for 5 minutes of excruciating agony while they reposition it in your heel. I’m getting rid of Lolo for my last trade.

You’ll be eating your words hattrick. I wonder whether you actually are a Souths fan most of the time. In fact I’ve got serious doubts. We’ve already flogged these clowns once. They’ve got no TPJ but they do have the spud called Boyd. Bennett knows exactly how to deal with this mob. They’ve got shit halves, shit backs, shit hooker and one decent prop, who will be easily shut down. No enforcer.....Souths by 20.

Hey Rabs I'm thinking of buying Su'a. Do you think he'll start the last 3 games. I only really need him this week as I have Watson not playing but Su'a will give me more depth.

Ironically, plantar fascia ruptures can be caused by corticosteroid injections for other foot injuries - these sometimes also have follow-on effects which can linger for months/years.
Hoping that's not the case for JT13.
You beat me to it.

The reality is that 5th is a better position for us than 4th. No one wants Melbourne at home, whereas 5th gives us at least 2 games at ANZ. If 3rd or 2nd is on the table though, Sam will be trying to play every game and I reckon Sua goes to the bench.

Well nothing changes much for the Bulldogs this year. Like last year they are going on a winning run looking unbeatable when they have no chance of making the 8 lol.

Ended up with PF after my heel injury last year. Have probably only just gotten over it in the last 3 months or so. I don't envy for you having gone through what sounds like worse and don't need to hear you're still getting issues 20 years later!
Definitely has a big effect on the calf too, I've had to do extra exercises and strengthening there and still not back to 100% pace/acceleration.
I've heard most injections into the foot are pretty painful. The worst I've had was a local anaesthetic for my big toe and it hurt like fuck. Turns out the Dr didn't inject it in the right place and then started cutting on me with a scalpel. I politely let him know that I could feel everything. Never seen someone go so pale. Rushed out of the room to get more drugs for me hahaha.

They've beaten the Panthers, Tigers and an under-strength bunnies. I wouldn't get too carried away.
Eels should put them in their place tonight and they'll be playing to avoid second-to-last with NQ next weekend

You’ll be eating your words hattrick. I wonder whether you actually are a Souths fan most of the time. In fact I’ve got serious doubts. We’ve already flogged these clowns once. With those consequences, Cows should just put a line through Tolo for the year you would think.
