TBF like ST said, none of them are that great, but surely they will let 1 or 2 of them go in the off-season. I'd be keeping one of Egan/Kenny and definitely get rid of Katoa.

Just a quick thought – Regarding someone like Burns, even though he has played all year at Centre will he still be WFB/CTR DPP next year because he still has the ability to play both WFB and CTR or will he just be a CTR.

Panthers do love releasing on-contract players as part of a never ending rebuild. See also, Tigers.

I’m sure one of Egan/Kenny plus Katoa will be let go. I think Katoa is more of a ball runner anyway.

But someone like Taupau.... Played every game last year at prop (2 off the bench) yet has FRF/2RF dpp. Mann - Last year had 4 at Winger, 4 at 5/8th and the rest off the bench yet has HOK/HLF DPP this year. J.Papalii - every game last year at prop and a bunch off the bench last year yet is FRF/2RF.

So surely they take into account like maybe the "other" position someone can play, yet someone like Yeo who can play CTR as well as 2RF only get 2RF because he is more of a injury cover CTR.

eg Manly list Taupau as a 'lock' so that is one reason why he has DPP

Smaller news but 1 year extension for Gav Cooper at the Cows.

But Kurt Mann is a fullback, so no idea why he got HOK/HLF (I guess he is a genuine utility, and you could justify almost any position for him)
